Popular Post Gogigobo Fairhug Posted July 28, 2023 Popular Post Posted July 28, 2023 Also love @Haukea-Willow's unique approach to things. 👍🏻 Quote Honesty was the best course of action as Haukea came right out with her personal stance on the matter, along with most matters at hand, not yet aware if Sherlock had caught onto that aspect of her personality; as she always held multiple aspects of an issue to be true, neither one less than the other, taking an extremely neutral position, until further and often direct contact with primary sources dictated otherwise. 7 Quote

LCDR Aine O. Sherlock Posted July 29, 2023 Posted July 29, 2023 Quote Arys looked unimpressed. While the Chief Medical Officer of a ship would frequently interact with medical and counselling officers of any rank, being department head of a hospital complex with seventeen sickbays and forty clinics meant that she didn't usually have to deal with new Ensigns, and she wasn't quite sure if she was in the best of conditions to do so right now. Then again, she could really use the help, and as someone who worked closely with the Academy's faculty of medicine, Marsh wouldn't have made it to One-Eighteen if she wasn't promising. Trovek: Ah. This is giving me some Michael Scott "Pam is a wonderful and amazing person, but I'd never say that to her face." vibes. 1 3 Quote
Popular Post LCDR Aine O. Sherlock Posted July 29, 2023 Popular Post Posted July 29, 2023 Quote The actual security officers with him were completely nonchalant about stuff quite possibly hitting the environmental control unit, or whatever that human proverb was. Close enough. 1 5 Quote
Popular Post Alcyone Brennan Posted August 1, 2023 Popular Post Posted August 1, 2023 Quote Madison nodded her head once in acknowledgement. oO Yeah, because I did not just join the crew and I am actually leading a mission that has already altered course once. You got it Lieutenant, I will hack into Commander McLaren's PADD next time to read the team's roster. Oo Love this one from Ensign Marsh ❤️ 2 5 Quote

Popular Post Corey Wethern Posted August 1, 2023 Popular Post Posted August 1, 2023 PNPC Lieutenant Garev - A Betazoid, a Rodulan and a Vulcan Walk into a Cardassian Embassy. Love this title @Gogigobo Fairhug 2 1 5 Quote
Popular Post Alcyone Brennan Posted August 2, 2023 Popular Post Posted August 2, 2023 Quote Vorrin was frustrated. Frustrated with the situation. Frustrated with being away from the problem. Frustrated that they couldn't solve the problem. And now, he was frustrated by this embassy. He was told he would be coming here to meet with the Federation and appraise them of the situation in the hope they could assist, but it seemed all that was happening was a waiting game. Whoever was running the show from behind the curtain seemed to have everyone put on edge. First the aides they "were running late," then when they arrived it was "we're waiting on a room to be available." Either the embassy staff was run with incompetence, or someone was stalling. Lovely intro @Lt Aine Olive Sherlock 7 Quote

One was a short human with brown hair, another a tall human sporting blonde hair and a metal coin on her forehead, and finally, a male with a grey complexion, pointy ears, and a haircut that defied the laws of physics. 3 3 Quote

Popular Post Sal Taybrim Posted August 5, 2023 Popular Post Posted August 5, 2023 I love this description, introducting an old character in a new way ❤️ Quote (Present Day) The couple had worn him down. They sent intel, schematics, instructional manuals for the big boy equipment they looked to use. Oh man was it tantalizing. Rustyy couldn’t stop thinking about it there at the end. At long last he was back. Somedays, it had felt like eons. Others he didn’t have much second thought. Except when it came to gatherings. He may not have noticed any outcast feelings. However, missed were those he knew from Ops. He had left his best friend Wynnie. Though not without many promises that he would be back and he would keep in touch. Of course he did. Sometimes it was a few times a day, even to leave a message. Sometimes it was a week in between due to some all consuming task. A lot of times it was just messages. Their schedules were busy, away missions. Rustyy wasn’t exactly stationary either. But that was all over! He was home. A little more gray - he had his dad to thank for the early gray genetics - little less curly haired. The computer chirped once.. Twice. … Thrice - fump! Rustyy woke, his feet flung off the console and the rest up him thrown into a full upright position. Eyes blurry and sleep filled open wide, yet saw nothing. If he had been attacked, that would have been it. End of story, No more Rustyy. But fortunately there was more Rustyy! 5 Quote
Popular Post Gogigobo Fairhug Posted August 5, 2023 Popular Post Posted August 5, 2023 This tickled me from @EgilRenot. 😂 Quote Tito appeared to have finished reading the asbestos research sooner than Egil. Admittedly, Egil was a bit of a slower reader. There was few moments of desperate reading from Egil before Tito closed it down and set the PADD aside. Mildly annoyed, he pulled up his own PADD and looked into this human compound himself, instead of being a little lazy and reading over people’s shoulders as he tends to often do. 2 3 Quote

Popular Post Alcyone Brennan Posted August 9, 2023 Popular Post Posted August 9, 2023 Quote Ksivi-Sava: ::nodding (self-)reassuringly:: As are yours, I would dare presume. oO And I’m sure not all of those are going to be entirely in the picture, either. Join Starfleet, come for the science, stay for the spy games. oO Love this @Ksivi-Sava 3 3 Quote
Popular Post Alcyone Brennan Posted August 9, 2023 Popular Post Posted August 9, 2023 And then this: Quote Only very subtly—or so he imagined—did Ksivi-Sava seek eye contact with Lt. Willow. If the chief of security was in possession of some sort of intel indicating an actual inside threat, possibly even aimed at the Commodore, then Ksivi-Sava felt this would be a good time to get a hint of some kind. He wasn’t terribly versed at this sort of game as it was, but here they were playing it with a Cardassian, of all people, and him not even completely in the picture. Then it hit him like a layer of atmosphere in the way of a fully-ladden Bussard scoop: If Sherlock and Willow had reason to expect an inside threat, full disclosure to a fresh Ensign would be nothing short of foolish. For all they knew, he could be the threat! They had received a shuttleload of unfamiliar Ensigns with the conference just about to start—of course they had to keep secrets from him, all the while dragging him along to keep up the appearance, possibly even catch him in the act. For a moment, while still awkwardly trying to attract Sherlock’s attention, Ksivi-Sava almost—just almost—grinned at his brilliant deduction: He was a prime suspect! Of course it wasn’t a very satisfying conclusion to him, on account of knowing he wasn’t a hitman, but nonetheless: They knew what they were doing, and any semblance of rushed planning or shaky informational basis was owing to them actually taking proper precautions. It was the real Starfleet indeed! 6 1 Quote
