    Updated the rules with some stuff from the old Top Sims Contest page on our site that no longer exists -- one of the rules is that sims must not be older than a month. So, when a ship has been decommissioned in the last month, then yes, you can submit the sim. However, you can't go digging through the archives

    I reviewed the rules today and realized that, since we no longer have a Top Sims Contest page on our website (it redirects to here), we were missing some rules which may be helpful to folks. I have added those rules, so I encourage everyone to review them today.

    Sims should not be considered for the contest unless they are complete and without open tags. So by that rule, this sim was finished with the response to it which was posted after the end of Round 13 and should be moved to Round 14. Which sim, specifically? If it's already in judging, let's just let it go for this round and ensure that it doesn't happen again.

    WE'RE MOVING TO SAN FRANCISCO!! CREDO Mobile hired me to be part of the Action team with the amazing Becky Bond, and I'm just ecstatic!

    I'll be flying to SF on August 4th to work from the CREDO office for a few weeks, and will return Labor Day weekend to pack up Hank Hedland and Baxter Rex to make my second move across country in 12 months.

    There are two voting questions this round -- we have a run-off from last round (11) when we had a 3-way tie, and then Round 12's sims. Please choose one in each category. Voting closes Sunday, July 22th, 2012 at 23:59 PM. This round of voting only qualifies one sim to move on to the next round of judging. REMEMBER: This is NOT a popularity contest. Vote based on MERIT, not the fact that someone is your crewmate. Any crews found “stuffing the ballots” or ratings, will be disqualified PERMANENTLY. Yes, that means the whole crew!

    Daily telemarketing call on our otherwise-useless home phone: US Telecom today. I pick up "Hello?", female: "JERDEN?!", "Yes?", "THISZ CINDY", "hello Cindy, what is the purpose of your call?", "HELLO? Oh, sorry, I didn't even hear you! I'm calling about that $2 charge on your phone bill. Did you notice that?".

    We have phone through Verizon FIOS, so I say, "We don't have phone service through you. What are you calling about?" She says to someone in the background "HE GOES 'WE DON'T HAVE SERVI...
