Apparently I [...]ed them off -- perhaps it was all my posts about how Republicans treat people poorly that had them running in the other direction? Guess I'll never know.     We already have the rules in a static thread, found here. The only thing that should be added to fill in quote tags is the actual quote itself. No descriptives or anything like that. The idea is just to create a whole sim that can be easily readable by anyone opening it.

    We don't use a static page for information about the Top Sims Contest anymore because it became too hard to keep up with on a regular basis. Just easier to have people link to this forum and check out the hall of fame and so-forth. Anyway, the original rules of the Contest did state that no open dialogue tags were allowed. And I thought that was still part of the rules, but somewhere along the line it got dropped. We might need to review the rules list to refresh that. A sim in this Contest is supposed to be fully formed. One or two open dialogue tags are fine, but generally you should try and fill in any ones that have already been responded to by others at the time of submission.

    Wendy's is across the street from our apartment, so it's our fallback on nights when Hank Hedland going to be really late after work or just doesn't feel like cooking. Last night I had a double burger and this morning I woke up feeling like someone had been kicking me in the head repeatedly overnight.

    You all know me -- I'd rather walk on my own two lips than jump to conclusions, but all I can think is that greasy hamburger hurt my brain. They should change the name from Wendy's to The Crab...

    I'm fairly certain that doesn't matter -- you should still be able to change your display name if you want even if you're registered with Facebook. Just head to this page (My Settings > Display Name). If you were having troubles before it's just because I hadn't approved your registration, which I've done now. You should be good to go
