Gogigobo Fairhug Posted October 10 Posted October 10 Quote Silence. Pure and beautiful and grief-stricken. An eternity within a second. I really liked this description of the silence held at Ops’ awards ceremony for the fallen of Frontier Day by @Theo Whittaker. 3 1 Quote
Gogigobo Fairhug Posted October 10 Posted October 10 Quote She gasped with her hand covering her mouth in surprise for Haukea. She was totally proud of her and would continue to support Haukea. Also this very natural reaction from @Madison Marsh at @Haukea-Willow’s promotion made me chuckle. 😄 4 Quote

Gogigobo Fairhug Posted October 15 Posted October 15 Quote McLaren: Gogi... do you remember what happened the last time you tempted the universe? One of the computer towers in the commercial sector exploded... you cant say these things out loud... it will hear you. @Solaris reminding Gogi of the dangers of tempting fate on his first day as CO. 😂 2 Quote
Gogigobo Fairhug Posted October 15 Posted October 15 Quote A lot of things were in motion, many changes just settling and taking effect - but this afternoon was for fun and educational team-building and nothing else. He was positive that there were no big surprises ahead. And speaking of tempting fate… @Evan Ross 🤣 1 2 Quote

Gogigobo Fairhug Posted October 17 Posted October 17 Quote Chin length blond hair, speckled with streaks of brown, rested in two side swept curls, hair pinned, brushed out, neatly secured underneath a bright woolen, coco brown pillbox beret. Further following the contours of the face, victory red decorated the lips, accentuating their downward curve, pointing directly at the long rounded puffed sleeve of a woolen skirt suit. The suit, moss pink, with criss-crossing marks of faded sky blue, had a wide double lapel, cinched waist, wooden brown buttons down the front, a matching a-line skirt continuing the line of the fabric and the draw of the eye. At last the toes were encapsulated in brown rounded toe, block heel Oxfords. It was here, Haukea, one final swipe of lipstick across her cupid's bow, placing the cap securely in place, that she briskly, heel-toe, skirt swaying with her movements, made way towards the hosted destination. What an outfit and what an entrance by @Haukea-Willow! 3 1 Quote
Popular Post Solaris Posted October 20 Popular Post Posted October 20 Quote T'Reyna was not a person who did things in half-measure. Being a security officer did not allow one to take half-measures when peoples lives were on the line. Whenever there was a suspected threat, one must take all action to prevent that threat from being of any harm. Thus, the Vulcan moved forth away from the trio towards the feline. Her eyes peered toward the feline creature as it casually strolled, without a care to her approach, in the exact same direction once more. It moved through the same doors once more. This time, the cat had a companion of an equal tabby mentality. The two Commanders would watch as both the cat and the Vulcan now re-emerged from the opposing corridor. Just the idea of T'Reyna ( @Mister_Wake ) following a cat through a door and then appearing on the other side of the room with the cat is hilarious. Must've been a sight. 4 2 Quote
Sal Taybrim Posted October 23 Posted October 23 An excellent except from an all around excellent sim from @Solaris! Quote She smiled. There was only one thing she wished she had done differently. One thing that had thrown up a road block. Then again... would she have had this revelation if she hadn't gone to Earth ahead of the rest of them? Would she have just been content to stay in her job if she hadn't? A question we all must ask ourselves... 3 Quote

That is, logically speaking, a version of binary-- an... Orion cipher. Gogigobo Fairhug Posted October 27 Posted October 27 Quote T'Reyna had never interacted with a Terran cat before. She knew little of them and had, during her time on Earth, avoided any location not a Starfleet building. Yet the Vulcan's calm and reserved demeanor seemed to calm the fickle pet. Whilst the prospect of protecting the creature whilst undertaking an investigation was not ideal, it was a better solution than leaving it to roam the forbidden control Hub of Starbase 118. It may accidentally step on a button and unlock all the docking clamps in the station or, worse, open up all the sewage substations into the water supply. Cats were agents of chaos. For as far back as anyone can remember and stretching into the 25th century, cats will be cats. 😂 Great bit of narration from @Mister_Wake. 2 1 Quote
Evan Ross Posted Monday at 09:42 PM Posted Monday at 09:42 PM Two favourites from recent sims: Quote He took about seven seconds to marvel at the Command Center Node. It was both elegant and efficient. After all, the Node did make the cover of ‘Secure This!’ magazine with the caption, “Starfleet’s sexiest command center”. A brilliant and hilarious insight from our newest recruit. Made me cackle, very Lower Decks @Samuel Woolheater Then of course, @Corey Wethern never disappoints: Quote I would prefer rescue our friends, kill this goddamn program and then relax to the bar for a nice cold beer and wait for this to blow over. I got that reference! 1 2 Quote
