John Kendrick
And another one, let's keep them coming @TLea😁: Quote Indobri: What? I can’t drop by and say hi to my friend without having an ulterior motive? T’Lea: This is the first time you’ve been here since we moved in… months ago. 2 2 Quote Link to comment
Gogigobo Fairhug
@Jaelyne Isa and Neshala classic NPC line. 😂👌🏻 Quote Yhanne: Suit yourself. I’ll be here if you should change your mind. 2 1 Quote Link to comment
Popular Post Gogigobo Fairhug
Quote oO And now comes the part where they say I'm being replaced by a Cardassian exchange officer. Oo @John Kendrick what a plot twist that would've been! 🤣 2 4 Quote Link to comment
Popular Post Dekas
I LOVE @Kettick's thought processes about these things 🤣 Quote The docks at Denali outpost had been earmarked early on for use as a shuttle landing area and general shipping center. The trouble was, between setting up more vital infrastructure and running around to put out fires, both metaphorical and otherwise, the Engineers had never gotten around to design and implement a proper Starfleet code-compliant shipping area. As a result, when civilian contractors had started to arrive and been pointed there, the place had grown organically. "Organically" as in the kind of organic growth you could find on a slice of dairy product you had forgotten for a few months in a damp and dark place. Or possibly a tumour. 6 Quote Link to comment
Popular Post Serala
This entire exchange between @Dekas and @Kettick gave me quite the chuckle. Quote Kettick: The situation seems to have deteriorated past half-measures. I think we would need an anti-neutron bomb. The Aurelian had to think for a moment to process that comment and try not to instantly start laughing. Kettick’s deadpan delivery was a good laugh so long as one understood there was a certain degree of hyperbole in the things he was getting across. He found himself working to partially match the way he spoke as a means of reading between the lines. And this place was a bit of a mess. So the Remmillian wasn’t exactly wrong. Dekas: Leveling the place, and a few people, with an antimatter bomb is quite the dramatic starting point. It would certainly make a statement. Kettick turned to Dekas. Kettick: Ah, a translation mistake. An antimatter bomb, while satisfactory, would do more harm than strictly necessary. I meant the opposite of a neutron bomb. Destroy the infrastructure, leave living beings intact. Dekas: Well I agree with leaving things alive. Still, let’s save the bombs for the off chance nothing else works. What other options do we have? Kettick: Bury the whole mess in ferroconcrete and start over? For the record, I like Kettick's plan. Well, both of them 😂 2 4 Quote Link to comment
Popular Post John Kendrick
Love this visualization from @Kettick: Quote Wrapping one's head around anything sounded like a recipe for grievous and possibly deadly damage, bar an unusual anatomy, but after a few years of efforts, Kettick understood idioms slightly better than he did Starfleet Medical. 5 Quote Link to comment
Popular Post Dekas
@Alex Forsyth It's ridiculous how much I relate to this nervous thought process around people. It's a mood 😆 Quote oO I should get a name tag, Save me the hassle. Oo 3 2 Quote Link to comment

Popular Post Gogigobo Fairhug
Quote Alex made her way quickly to the Clinic, A feeling dread played at the back of her mind as she walked the white pristine corridors of Anchorage. The view overlooking the rest of the city was incredible but it did little to ease her nerves, Alex like her father before her, didn't like being late for things regardless of how long she had before starting it. It was just one of those things people with anxiety did, The need to not disappoint everyone. Really enjoyed this intro @Alex Forsyth especially as someone who suffers from this exact form of anxiety. Hmm. Maybe "enjoyed" is the wrong word. Let's go with "related to". 😅 5 Quote Link to comment
Popular Post John Kendrick
This one made me stop and reflect for a moment. Thanks you @Dekas! Quote …. The space that said he had to be the pinnacle of what an Aurelian was to people because he was often the first that people met. The only one they knew. Never wanting to give the wrong impression of his people or himself. 6 Quote Link to comment
Gogigobo Fairhug
@TLea 🤣 Quote T’Lea: We can call in a shuttle if you like. You can camp in that if your condo is too rustic. 4 Quote Link to comment
Popular Post Dekas
I already love @Freck Something about mentioning having stopped at a bunch of "World's Largest" things to the XO is strangely hilarious and slightly adorable. Quote Freck: Actually, I had a very pleasant passage here. My family - my father and uncle - picked me up from the Academy and took me on a bit of a road trip to drop me off here. I swear, sir, we stopped at every single tourist trap my father could find. The number of “World’s Largest” things I’d never even imagined existed, and yet... But I’m happy to be here now. I’m very excited to be able to help with our mission here. 4 1 2 Quote Link to comment
Dekas
@Kettick I snorted 🤣 Quote Kettick: Remmilian is context-dependent, and relies on pheromones and gestures to convey the full meaning of the words. For the record, what you said... well, I would rather you don't eat my foot, and I do not know any purple cat. 3 Quote Link to comment
Popular Post Serala
🤣🤣 I have never laughed so hard. Maybe it's just because I play Karise, but I really loved reading this from @TLea ... Quote T’Lea: Tell her stupid ass to call Karise the next chance she gets. She misses her. 1 4 Quote Link to comment
Gogigobo Fairhug
Absolutely love this species building from @Kalia Qinn Quote Hirl: I believe I mentioned previously, on my world each Caste has their own language. They developed to best serve each Caste's responsibilities. The Warrior Caste’s language is incredibly clear and concise, to facilitate communication during chaotic situations in battle. As a contrast my Caste’s language is quite the opposite, and is incredibly verbose and descriptive. It allows us to engage in very precise and descriptive conversations about our research or other work. We have a common language to allow communications between the Castes. While it’s not as uncommon as it used to be, it’s still not typical to become fluent in another Caste’s language. When talking to a soldier or a merchant, I wouldn’t use my language, even if they knew it, it would be excessive and wouldn’t fit the conversational tone. 2 Quote Link to comment
Gogigobo Fairhug
Quote Kettick: An arrangement that benefits both parties for no real cost, then. Somewhere in the galaxy, while the two Engineers went back to their meal, a Ferengi died of a heart attack. @Kettick 🤣🤣🤣 3 Quote Link to comment

Dekas
@Alex Forsyth Something about Alex's thought process here had me wheezing with laughter instantly. 😆 Quote Neshala: So…. Anyone know a good joke? oO Not unless your familiar with Humpty Dumpty or pizza…Oo 1 Quote Link to comment
Dekas
And shortly after there’s a good narrative bit from @Gogigobo Fairhug’s PNPC Garev that got a good laugh out of me just now. We love a Vulcan brow raise. 🤣 Quote Garev’s eyebrow raised for the third time. He considered just keeping it there for the duration of this mission. 2 Quote Link to comment
Popular Post Dekas
As usual, I love @Kettick. His thoughts on life as a character are refreshing, thoughtful, and also entertaining. Quote Kettick: It may be cultural. I am kt'k. My death in service has never been in question, so I am free not to worry over it. :: He paused :: I find the certainty comforting, actually. I live, I serve, I will live and serve until I die in service. My life has a purpose, and I know how it ends. In the meantime, I can explore the Universe, have nice discussions with friends, and eat delicious baby carrots. He popped one in his mouth to illustrate his point and chewed contently. 3 2 Quote Link to comment
Dekas
One of those ones that's hard to explain why exactly I find it as funny as I do. But @Oddas Aria's description of a pool as exactly what it is. But something about it seems like it would be delivered almost deadpan if she said it out loud like that. Quote It wasn't that she was against a large hole with water in it, she just never saw the appeal 3 Quote Link to comment
Gogigobo Fairhug
Quote The snark was mostly gone from her voice. She tried to like everyone, to see something positive in every person she met, but Garev had rubbed her wrong from the second he had spoken. As if his superior intellect entitled him to be smug, or something. oO I wonder if Francisco would beat him up for me? … No, that would just get him thrown in the brig. Best not go there. Oo That would be an interesting interaction between my PNPCs @Serala 🤣 4 Quote Link to comment
Popular Post Gogigobo Fairhug
I think @Freck is my spirit animal! 😂 (I hate coffee, too! 😱) Quote The entire ordeal, whenever it came up, made Freck want to aggressively shrug in response. How exactly was he missing out on what he could only describe as the dark poisonous swamp of a drink with an aroma that threatened to leave him with less inside his stomach than he started with? 1 4 Quote Link to comment

Gogigobo Fairhug
Quote Oddas: It's good to know the Marines are in good hands, Lieutenant Gogigobo. She let the little joke hang in the air as he left, unsure if he caught it and leaned back into her chair, unsure where she had been and thinking about the young officer she had been, once. He got it @Oddas Aria 😉😂 Quote Link to comment
