John Kendrick Posted March 24 Posted March 24 @Drex0379 The Counsellor's in 😅 Quote Strathmore: I assure you, this will be a fun and pleasant experience. Think of it like a casual conversation where you get to talk about yourself a lot. oO What a beautiful oxymoron Oo He nodded at the other's words. oO Remember, it could be worse Drex Oo As he sit, he stifled a light laugh oO He could be Betazoid Oo 2 Quote
Drex0379 Posted April 6 Posted April 6 @Kettick , I guess it depends from the couch Quote The Engineer froze briefly. He had heard about Denobulans, of course and all cultures within the Federation were equally valid, but... surely they did not enter relationships so lightly that Drex considered them all mated just because they had shared a couch? 1 Quote
Alora DeVeau Posted April 6 Posted April 6 Quote Falt: I think that covers everything. Unless any of you have questions for me? ::sipping his coffee:: Don’t worry, I don’t bite. Hard. Quote
Drex0379 Posted April 6 Posted April 6 Falt even let them sit and have coffee. Being a godfather softened him 😂 1 Quote
Alora DeVeau Posted April 6 Posted April 6 Quote Drex: We are having a luckpot, or potluck? Well we have food and drinks and … oh,sorry, my name is Drex. I’m an Ensign for the Science Division. I vote we call it a luckpot from now on. Quote
Alora DeVeau Posted April 6 Posted April 6 Quote Alix was anxious meeting her new XO but mostly she just really needed to pee and was finding it hard not to fidget to take her mind off it. Funny and relatable! 😂 1 Quote
Alora DeVeau Posted April 21 Posted April 21 From @Kettick's narration: Quote Oh, except Strathmore. He was playing dead, in hope that he would make a less appetizing target that the rest of them. Must be a Tuesday. This made me laugh. Quote
Alora DeVeau Posted April 21 Posted April 21 Just...this whole thing. Quote Strathmore: ::Talking loudly:: This is a bit unconventional, but avian creatures have a hypersensitivity to vinegar. At least it was that way on New France, Bajor, and Terra. Does anyone have vinegar in their packs or a way to synthesize it? Forsyth: Sure, Let me just pull one out.:: Annoyed:: Who the hell carry vinegar with them?! Bowman: Vinegar? I am sure that the bird likes his food to be nice and seasoned! Does anyone have any salt or pepper? Parvana: I’m all out! The Remmilian's facial feelers sagged, unseen by anyone who didn't share his burrow, in the equivalent of a sigh. He could not believe what he was about to say. Kettick: I do not believe pickling specimen of unknown wildlife would help, gentlemen. The sonic probes will not be powerful enough to deter it either, judging by the volume of its screams. Quote
Alora DeVeau Posted April 21 Posted April 21 (edited) Quote Kettick turned towards the Captain, and caught the Caitian's gaze as she did the same, before taking stock of the Captain's expression. He did not know whether someone could earn a Purple Heart for being shot repeatedly by their commanding officer, but it certainly looked like they were bound to know soon. That is a very good question. Edited April 21 by Alora DeVeau Quote
Alora DeVeau Posted April 21 Posted April 21 Quote Kettick: That... may be wise. At the very least, some of us ought to go and rescue Ensign McGillian. From the wildlife, or the Captain, whoever got to him first. I suspect the Captain. XD 1 Quote
Drex0379 Posted April 23 Posted April 23 Quote Kettick: For the record before we regroup with her, the Captain has a deep personal aversion to what she considers as reckless risk-taking. She has been known to berate recipient of a Purple Heart publically as she gave them their award, for instance. :: he paused :: Oh, and she is to be adressed as Commodore, Captain or Sir. Not Madam. He really needed to write that primer, but that would do for now. Other rules, like "Do not ask f the Captain needs a hand" and "mess with the Captain's coffee and you will beg for the sweet embrace of death" could wait. @Kettick got him first and he is really up trying to safe Mac life. 2 Quote
Alora DeVeau Posted April 25 Posted April 25 Quote The science officer had stopped to look at a console, and she took the moment to pull her coffee from her pack. Water would have been a better option Aria knew, but there was no reason to poison herself at the moment. *eyes the Commodore* Quote
Drex0379 Posted April 26 Posted April 26 and nothing... another gem from @Kettick Quote If Kettick had eyebrows, one would slowly raise by now. In his experience, telling a Starfleet doctor asking to check you for possible injuries "I'm fine" was the equivalent of dumping a vat of blood in the middle of a school of sharks before jumping in the water wrapped in red meat. 1 Quote
Drex0379 Posted May 3 Posted May 3 @Kettick's sims always contain something worth to be shared Quote The Ensign looked like the possible consequences of his actions started to dawn on him. Although in Kettick's opinion, the creature most likely to maul him in the vicinity had nose ridges and a flag officer pip on her collar. 2 Quote
Drex0379 Posted May 10 Posted May 10 (edited) ask and it will be given to you , but sometimes is better of you don't ask, Commander Falt! Quote Harford: Commander, it's good to see you. Welcome to Cargo. We've got gravity. Tomas pushed himself up of the floor, aware of pain in his injured knee which had taken another hit when he’d slammed into the deck. oO Tell me something I don’t know. Oo Sanchez: They’re getting closer Edited May 10 by Drex0379 1 Quote
Drex0379 Posted May 17 Posted May 17 Last expression from Commodore @Oddas Aria really summarize the whole mission so far Quote Oddas: Look for information banks, I'm serious about wanting to bring information back with us - to do less this mission was a failure. Aria noticed a slight outline, covered in dirt, grime, and time - she pressed hard and ignored the feedback. The result was exposing a small access panel which looked a lot like one of the ones in the Denali Operations center. She let out a sigh of relief - in Operations with specialized code, it would transfer data through opto-isolation interface to a PADD. It was inefficient, but it worked. Parvana: Perhaps if I tap it again? oO The old 'hit it and see if it works method'. Oo The data transfer started, but it was slow, very slow given the time frame they had, a countdown punctuated by animal screeching and beating. Parvana: No. Not that. Aria poked her head up, the sound was new - the banging was now against the makeshift barricades. She shook her head and gripped her PADD tightly. Then, suddenly, the room went green, and then it was changed again - a familiar, yet different, you have been transported feeling washed over her. Aria clutched the PADD, hoping beyond hope she had some level of usable data in the thing. The sound of phaser fire and other creatures instantly filled her ears. she ignored it looking for the display of progress on her screen. 53% oO Kosst ... of all the stupid ... phekking ... Keet'agh .... Oo Quote
ArthurStrathmore Posted May 17 Posted May 17 @Oddas Aria is like our exacerbated parent. Quote Oddas: Which is why we need to take it with us. ::beat:: Mister Strathmore, this is now your tricorder, do not lose it between now and when we get back to Denali. 1 Quote

Alora DeVeau Posted May 21 Posted May 21 Quote He was their team leader. He was not the Captain or the XO, but he was the closest thing to them and Drex still remembered Commander Adea’s warning oO if I get killed, it’s very unlikely you’ll pass the test. Oo @Genkos Adea left a strong impression. 1 Quote

As I often say, the day I taught you in the Academy was the greatest day of your life, for me - it was a Tuesday. 2 Quote
Drex0379 Posted May 23 Posted May 23 Professional rummaging exists and only Commodores know the secret. @Kettick Quote Kettick: The icon is still not full, we may need some power. The Captain reluctantly stuck her hand inside her console and appeared to rummage inside. But the last segments of the icon lit up, which meant that it had been professional quality rummaging. 1 Quote
Alora DeVeau Posted May 23 Posted May 23 Quote oO Not my job. Everyone under my charge is still alive. I don't have to communicate with alien creatures or understand explosive ordinance. Oo Oh you sweet, young, naive thing you. Just wait, it's early yet. Quote
Alora DeVeau Posted June 8 Posted June 8 Quote Which may have been an understatement; from what he new of Drex, he wouldn't discount the chances of the Denobulan archaeologist running to the legal department and asking whether one can marry a map. Quote
