Another good example of @ElandraDAR 's good work. Not only does she add extra weight to the scene, but she is able to write 3 very different characters in it, knitting everything masterfully with the contributions of her cowriters here: @Iron Captain Geffrond Tell , @Sirok and @Tara Wilkins . An excellent job and a great way to close a scene leaving us full of questions and wanting to know more. Good work to you all!

I am always impressed by Dar's ability to provide great quality and depth to her characters, with a few concise lines. Here, with an MSNPC she shows it in all its splendor, sketching the life of an entire family and how it articulates with the mission in a wonderful scene. An admirable presentation of MSNPC. Good work @ElandraDAR !

Having the privilege of reading two well-established writers enjoying themselves is a delight. It shows you the ins and outs of a JP (in this case) how the narrative can flow from one narrator to another without obvious limits and how the stories intertwine in space and time to form a beautiful all-embracing tapestry. Being able to write a Commanding Officer and still be able to show the human side of the story and let us read it is a genuine delight. I think I'm falling short of explaining why this SIM deserves to be here, but I think you all know @Tony (Kells) and @Alora DeVeau and that their skills and expertise are undeniable. Beautiful, as usual, you both.

I' m always impressed by Dar' s great talent for incorporating small scenes from the life of both her character and her child, how she weaves them into the current and former events, and how she is able to give all her SIMs a sense of continuity and consistency. Good work !

Thank you very much for sharing it @Alora DeVeau ! It has been a wonderful journey to let this idea out into the world and for @Quen Deena and @Geoffrey Tellerto decided to join in and shape it, I think being able to share things with others and let them evolve on their own is one of the best things about this group. Along with the TALENT of these two, keep an eye on them, because they are really great. Furthermore, a Vulcan in the XO's brain? I wanted to read that since it came out on the XD table

I have always regarded the position of counsellor as one of the most difficult positions on a starship by far. Their work schedule is usually the opposite of the rest of the crew's (being busier on shoreleaves than on missions) and they have such an open and flexible position that there are many times when I personally have a hard time to find their spot If i put myself in their shoes. Only for that, this sim merits a special mention, but if we add to that Brodie's wonderful prose, how he woven together the writings and stories of other crew members and the clarity with which he advises and counsels, I think it is a reference sim for anyone who wants to write a counsellor. Outstanding work, as usual @Alex Brodie

One of the things I have discovered that I like most about the SB118 community is the chance of doing sims between different ships. How the stories of some characters and some others, even though they may be mostly independent, are intertwined and enrich each other. How even in different ships friendships could flourish. We can seen a beautiful example of that here. Add to that mix two wonderful writers (and PRODUCTIVE ones, @Alora DeVeau is a monster with JPs and writing one with @Geoffrey Teller is always fun and instructive) , the ongoing sense of shared background (even without knowing the whole story it's delightfully obvious and annoyingly ambiguous, which makes me want to know MORE of both of them and the moments they had shared), a scene that's beautiful and fun at the same time... well, the result is that we have a very good example of what can be read between our ranks, and an example to aspire to. Great job guys, keep raising the bar!

One of the things I particularly like to see in SIM is consequences. How the actions of an adventure or a mission affect the characters and the way they grow up with it. It is even better if we can see how the crew helps each other to overcome traumas and problems and how the officers in command are humans beneath all the glamour of command, with their flaws, their weaknesses and their need of others. All this can be read in this JP and is just a tiny example of the good work and wonderful skills of its writers. In this shoreleave there are some great JPs and I had a hard time choosing one of them, but I think this one stands out a lot. Good job guys! @Tony (Kells) @Geoffrey Teller @Alex Brodie

Although a little late, I want to feature this sim here because it has very good qualities. To begin with, it's a sim that closes a very complex scene (and act) that had many ramifications, which is always delicate if you want to take into account everything that has been developed during dozens of sims. On the other hand, it describes an experimental medical procedure (which already has merit), in a quite descriptive and evocative way without being distasteful (which, in my opinion, is a real achievement when dealing with medical subjects) and at the same time it succeeds in leaving tags for the other characters and NPCs present in such a way that it is not a story carried out by only one character, in the best example of collaborative writing and teamwork. An outstanding achievement @Quen Deena!

I promise I'll stop featured sad sims soon, but with Thor's last mission we've had our share of this kind of sims. In this I want to emphasize the great timing, emotion and beautiful descriptive skills that @Wes Greaves has, and how with a pure and evocative description is able to play all the right notes to create a very intense scene and at the same time incredibly elegant. Good job!
