Three of my friends have mentioned on Facebook this morning the dreams they had last night. Must have been a rough night for everyone. While we're all at it: I dreamed that one of my real-life friends was directing a school play I was in and, "as usual," I was unprepared for my part as a ballet dancer because I hadn't been at the first rehearsal. *sigh*

Apparently I'm part of a new FB test group for the "happening now" sidebar. I don't get to see anyone's birthdays on my page anymore Not a bad feature, but doesn't work well just yet.

Something really wonky is going on with my FB. The stories in my "Top News" are REALLY stale, and there's some new scrolling side-bar with the "most recent" stories coming up automatically.

It's really happening! I'm attending New Organizing Institute's New Media training July 2-9! How thrilled am I?!

SO UPSET. just saw a little dog get hit on the highway and I can't get back to him to try and help ;'

I'm now locked in my room for the next 1.5h while SOMEONE watches the first of three Oprah finale episodes. I'm not permitted to be in the room during the meltdown that will inevitably occur.

Not to spoil the fun (and really, I'm having as much fun as anyone with it), but it's important to remember that this rapture stuff is the product of a twisted individual who calls San Francisco "the cesspool" because of its LGBT population. He might be ridiculous but, like many before him, he's using this doomsday prophecy to horde money for his "church" and strengthen his hold on impressionable people.
