  1. For as far back as anyone can remember and stretching into the 25th century, cats will be cats. πŸ˜‚ Great bit of narration from @Mister_Wake.
  2. I remember being genuinely disturbed the first time I watched 'Q Who?'. 😳
  3. As we inch ever closer to the festival of Hallowe’en, our thoughts naturally turn to the creepy, the kooky, the mysterious and/or the spooky (sorry, my kids are obsessed with The Addams Family at the moment) and while fairytales and classic literature may have given us some of the more famous examples of monsters and ghouls, our favourite sci-fi franchise has also chipped in with some rather disturbing creatures and entities of its own. Star Trek has offered up twists on some of those classic monsters over the years. We had Zombie Vulcans in Enterprise, a Salt Vampire in TOS, crew members metamorphosing in TNG, the Vidiians of Voyager Frankensteining themselves with the organs of beloved characters such as Neelix and who can forget the most destructive and fearsome monster of them all? - the dreaded Tribble! Whether it’s the manifestation of a species’ negative attributes, like Armus, a non-corporeal, parasitic organism that feeds off of pain and fear, such as Redjac, or more traditional, physical representations of what we consider to be β€œmonsters” like Species 8472 - a species so terrifying that even the Borg were afraid of them! - there have definitely been more than a few episodes that sent tingles down our spines and had us hiding behind the sofa. Of course, Quark might have you believe that hew-mons are the real monsters, but that is perhaps another discussion for another time. So, this month we are asking which monster or monsters from the Star Trek universe are a graveyard smash and which would have gotten away with it if it wasn't for those pesky kids…
  4. Little did I know when I assigned some random Cadet to Engineering that I’d still be hearing about it over a year later. πŸ™„πŸ€£
  5. This might actually be my favourite sim title of all time. 🀣 Bravo @Madison Marsh! #iykyk
  6. @Solaris reminding Gogi of the dangers of tempting fate on his first day as CO. πŸ˜‚
  7. @Sal Taybrim you have got to tell us about the singing penguin one of these days! 🀣
  8. Also this very natural reaction from @Madison Marsh at @Haukea-Willow’s promotion made me chuckle. πŸ˜„
  9. I really liked this description of the silence held at Ops’ awards ceremony for the fallen of Frontier Day by @Theo Whittaker.
  10. Another one that made me chuckle from @Mister_Wake. πŸ˜‚
  11. Loving this line from @Evan Ross. πŸ˜‚πŸ‘ŒπŸ»
