This year, Commodore Ossa V'Airu is in another couture look by Aanlis Mou, a Betazoid designer known as a visionary artist and a malcontent who identifies with the Cult of Karawati. Unlike last year's gown, this year Mou collaborated with Ossa directly to create a look inspired by Starfleet itself. The color of the piece reflects Ossa's long period in command, while the structure reflects the uniform standard for Starfleet officers. The embellishments on the upper part of the look are riffs on rank pips.

Valin Dermont's ex-wife helps her family export all sorts of fabric from Betazed so she was full of advice on some of the latest fashions.  She sent example after example.  Eventually, he found inspiration in the form of ignoring everything she had to say and just tossing something on from his closet.  At least he trimmed the beard.  A little.

Dekas was running a little late, still had what looks like some type of Starfleet athleisure top, and last minute found the softest, and most rainbow skirt he could replicate just to have a fun time and be himself, and it turned out it matched, and he painted his claws for the occasion. Comfortable AND fashionable if you ask him.

[Robin Hopper]

In just under the wire, Gabriel Osuna - Chief Security Officer for the USS Artemis - attempted to sneak by event photographers into the Awards Lounge.

"I'm just here for the food..." he explained, when cornered. Asked about his suave attire, he responded by laughing and claiming, "My wife dressed me."

[Tahna Meru]

"Wait, it's awards season again? Already?" 

Fortunately, Lieutenant Tahna Meru of the USS Gorkon was able to find a last-minute outfit at Garak's Tailor Emporium on DS9.

"I'm not sure the inspiration behind it...honestly, I just asked for whatever fit. It's really comfortable though. Um, I heard there's a dessert table?"

"I picked the entire outfit up at this lovely little shop on Deep Space Nine." She laughs, "I had to do a bit of haggling to get the price down, though!"

Making a graceful and very late entrance, Luxa Lorana, wearing an outfit that she made herself from Caitian silks, and sequins. The belt is a family heirloom, set with a cat's eye stone from Earth.

I'm super late to the game, but Hiro wouldn't stop fussing with his hair. I was like, "Dude! We're gonna be late!" and he was like, "It has to look perfectly messy." You wouldn't think him a diva, but when it comes to formal events, I guess everybody likes to preen.
