Alora DeVeau Posted June 10 Posted June 10 Quote Wil pinched the bridge of his nose and tilted his head back to stop the nose bleed, wiping his bloody red fingers on his uniform. Come on, @Wil Ukinix, don't you know any better? You should lean forward, not back! 1 Quote
Alora DeVeau Posted June 14 Posted June 14 Quote Blackwood: This? ::Gesturing his arm up, terribly fighting a wince:: Ah, just a flesh wound sirs. 2 Quote
Alora DeVeau Posted June 17 Posted June 17 Quote Computer: Biometric scans verified. Please enter your authorization code, Captain Rahman. Rahman: Rahman Wolf-Cat-2000. The First Officer pursed his lips a little and looked down to hide his smirk. “Wolf-Cat-2000” sounded like an “advanced” room cleaning device sold by a Ferengi merchant, with a free set of Klingon dining knifes thrown in. Rahman: It's a long story... Now we all need to hear this story! It's mandatory! Quote
Alora DeVeau Posted June 22 Posted June 22 Quote She rounded the corner and waited as Hannibal quickly took down whomever had been coming to greet them on the turbolift. After the sounds of the scuffle had ceased, she peered out to see two unconscious bodies. Both were wearing Starfleet security uniforms and not maintenance technicians, and both had been armed with phasers set to kill. Hannibal grabbed the phasers and threw them in the hatch. Rahman: ::shaking her head:: Dear God, Hannibal... you ever meet a problem you couldn't solve with a fist? Parker: No, I didn't kill them. I haven't had dinner yet...::smiling:: 1 1 Quote
Alora DeVeau Posted June 22 Posted June 22 Quote Rahman: Don't look up. Just stay focused and try not to stand out too much. She glanced over and up at him. Rahman: ...well, try not to stand out as much. Just put a hat and sunglasses on him. 1 1 Quote
Alora DeVeau Posted June 22 Posted June 22 Quote Yirah: ::singing to himself:: Gonna scan. Gonna scan. Tricorder in my hand. Too bad Alora isn't with him, she'd sing along! 1 1 Quote
Alora DeVeau Posted June 29 Posted June 29 Quote Ukinix: ::Looking around, nervous tone:: After all that, I’m surprised there’s not a pile of good in my pants. Nathan could do nothing to hold back the snort of laughter that escaped him. Barberra: Gross. oO Hilarious Oo Two very different reactions. 2 Quote
Alora DeVeau Posted July 8 Posted July 8 Quote Barberra: Sirs... ::limping forward, clutching arm::... this changeling was another Crewman before it mimicked me. I managed to get away when it attacked me. Wong: Response Barberra: ::Wearily:: Are you kidding? Two dead me’s is the best day of my... It was certainly the highlight of my... 1 1 Quote
Gila Sadar Posted July 20 Posted July 20 Quote As the two men who had put their lives in her hands waited for their fates, 731 found her faith in her mission wavering. She had buried the dream so many years ago, casting it aside as a foolish worldview of a young, naive changeling who had allowed herself to believe Federation propaganda in order to serve her handler's true desires. They lacked the decency to take responsibility for the violent and heinous acts they expected of her and her brethren nor the fortitude to do it themselves. If she killed these two men now, was that all her life was to be then? A killer raised like an attack dog to know no other purpose. Was choosing her own destiny not the true reason for her cause now? Her bladed arm slowly retracted back to its human-looking form and she looked back at the two officers. Jane (731): I'm giving you a chance to prove who you really are--which is more than the Federation ever gave me. I love her!! I am officially spearheading the petition for Jane to be the first Changeling Officer 💯 2 1 Quote
Alora DeVeau Posted July 27 Posted July 27 Quote Of course, Ikaia was skeptical. And he had reason to be. Every shapeshifter he had ever met turned out to be murderers, liars, thieves, or any combination of the above. He hated himself for even thinking this way. It felt wrong to paint all shapeshifters with the same brush. He felt like a hypocrite. He felt like maybe he was a terrible person for those thoughts. After all, he himself had been subjected to the stereotypes and perceptions others had of Klingons. It was still the background radiation of his life. Which was what made this so hard and it was tearing his heart and mind apart. Very honest and very realistic! 2 Quote
Popular Post Gila Sadar Posted August 3 Popular Post Posted August 3 Quote Rahman: How did the Borg assimilate my crew? A drone did not make assumptions. It did not think or evaluate in its own processor without the Collective’s will calling upon it. Even something as simple as deciding whether or not to refuse to answer made Seven’s already throbbing head feel like it was about to crack open like an egg. Rahman of Rahman had made an inquiry, and Seven of Eleven needed to decide how to respond. @Niev Galanis casually nailing what we know to be true of individual Drones when cut off from the Collective: practically docile and infantilized 👍 A beautiful parallel to the pandemonium taking place everywhere else! ❤️ 5 Quote
Gila Sadar Posted August 7 Posted August 7 Quote Query: Incoming hail? Wong: =/\= Aloooha! It’s me. Lieutenant Ikaia Wong. Chief Medical Officer of the USS Kitty Hawk. I know you’re Borg and I know you have the bridge. And what you’ve done here today - pretty clever trying to assimilate our young. Turning them against us. But that’s so cowardly and absolutely careless. You really should have paid closer attention to your science better. Specifically that your one size fits all solution to remote assimilation failed to account for the diversity of genetic variables. Like mine. You tried to assimilate me but all you’ve done is given me the galaxy’s first Borg allergy! Imagine that! Allergic to you. It’s because your junk science was sloppy. Even for you in all your perfection. As for you lot, as Chief Medical Officer I’m calling a Regulation 121 Section A because not a *single* one of you is fit for duty! Prepare for treatment! =/\= Query: What? That feeling when you deeply sympathize with a robotic exoskeleton controlled by the Borg Collective 🤣 What indeed, @Gnai! 4 Quote
Indrid Yirah Posted August 16 Posted August 16 Quote If Ikaia had a strip of latinum for every time he had personally witnessed Barberra having been taken over by something alien to her biology, he’d have two strips right now. Which wasn’t much. But it would have at least granted him a fun hour on Ferenginar. 3 Quote
Samantha Richards Posted September 3 Posted September 3 @Niev Galanis I think I can speak for all of us when I say we are all enjoying seeing the sassy side of Niev! Quote Galanis: I’ve demonstrated the fairness of the dice. It looks like you’re next... assuming you're also willing to acquiesce to this buffoonery. 1 1 Quote
Samantha Richards Posted September 3 Posted September 3 Quote Ylvor: Oh gosh it's cold! Torvi squeezed the water out of her hair, seeing Sam's gaze head south of her face. S. Richards: ::snorting a laugh:: I can see that. Torvi's jaw dropped mixed with a smile, a look of shock. Ylvor: Optical sensors up here please! ::She said with a smile, pointing her hand upwards:: Sorry @Torvi Ylvor Sam has them wandering eyes 👀 1 2 Quote
Samantha Richards Posted October 24 Posted October 24 Quote Keehani: I think we should name them. Who wants to do the honours? Keehani turned to Nathan for a moment when he stifled a laugh, before picking up a word from his stray thoughts... “Red”? “Dread”? “Bed”... surely he couldn’t be thinking of Robin already. @Wil Ukinix The whole Keehani sim made me smile, but this part particularly made me laugh uncontrollably. Awesome sim to bring us some laughs! 1 2 Quote
