Alora DeVeau
Quote Kel turned back to his console to begin looking at the data pouring in from the sensors. The Enterprise, the one with the bald captain, had also run into a crystalline entity. It had communicated with the ship via graviton pulses. I couldn't help it. I laughed at the bald captain remark. 1 Quote Link to comment

Alora DeVeau
Quote Suffice to say, after hearing a few distant bangs, an argument about the date, Anton revealed himself to the party once again. Wait...THE date, or *A* date? Quote Link to comment
Wes Greaves
I'm not sure whether to feel insulted or complimented, but either way I feel singled out @Anton Richards! Quote Wes… Well he’s a marine. Discomfort is like a badge of honour or something to them. 2 Quote Link to comment

Alora DeVeau
Quote Kel: Lt. Reid, can you reach her using your mind? Can you tell her we're still out here? oO Patients like to know the doctor is still listening Oo Anton’s mind reading magic powers were slim in comparison to Reids. He hoped she would be able to gain something that Anton could not. Something other than the overwhelming feeling of hunger. Richards: And tell him that I say hi! Maybe Richards should be in PR. 😄 Quote Link to comment
Alora DeVeau
Quote Even with their lower level of technology, the Thor was by no means safe. It wouldn't take much for the tables to turn between previous damage and the creature's strange energy build-ups. Wes found his heart beating hard in his chest. The Marine wanted nothing more than to jump over his chair and take the tactical console himself. Every day of his training, every fight he'd been in, Wes had been shoulder to shoulder with the grunts he led. Phaser rifle in one hand, communicator in the other, he'd shared foxholes and charged bunkers with his Marines. Leading from the bridge of a starship however, was a special hell. It was a slower fight. One in which you saw your doom or your victory coming minutes before it arrived. It was a fight where the leaders played chess, and the officers manning the stations moved the pieces. It was a fight, Wes decided, that he'd happily trade for a phaser and a trenchline. I really liked this narration here. Gave me a good sense of the character and what he's feeling. 1 Quote Link to comment
Alora DeVeau
Quote Pressing a few buttons in rapid succession, the office doors hissed open. Wes motioned to Jack to follow him in and then stepped through the doorway, only to be affronted by what can only be described as an assault on the eyes. Greaves: What in the actual --- The office was upside down... and pink. Very, very pink. And was that a flamingo? Hanging from the ceiling was every piece of furniture in the room. The desk itself was decorated in neon frills of some kind of pink fabric, and sitting in the chair was a lone plastic bird with black eyes. Eyes that peered into his soul. Why yes. Yes it is. Alora DeVeau
Quote Corelli: Wha-? He answered with noodles hanging half out of his mouth, being ripped from the intimate gastronomical study. This gave me a chuckle. Visions in my head. LOL Quote Link to comment

Bet it looked pretty good from back there didn’t it? ::laughing:: Kel: Picture perfect I'd say. Greaves would have been impressed. I dunno, Greaves has pretty high standards. 😄 1 1 Quote Link to comment

VLen Kel
@Tony, aka Kells really? We’re fully competent my friend. 😬 “From their perspective, that wasn't a bad idea. They didn't seem particularly competent, which made them more dangerous in a way, since they didn't seem too concerned with hurting anyone along the way.” 1 1 Quote Link to comment
