Richard Matthews Posted September 5 Posted September 5 Quote Rodan: Wait... where's Michaels? Lacy: Depends. Do you believe in an afterlife? The most threatening way to say someone's passed away. Like Lacy, girl, you didn't have to go that hard! 3 Quote
+ Gila Sadar Posted September 12 Posted September 12 Quote To be flown out to some distant starbase at the edge of Federation space, right in the thick of it, where the possibilities were just shy of limitless... only to find herself trapped in some horrid storeroom in utter darkness, while everyone else got to run off and make a real difference. Not only could she not find a viewport and look off into the vast unknown, but she couldn't even see the hand in front of her face! Poor Ensign! 😬 You Khitomer people, how dare you not provide them front row seats to the carnage!? 🤣 3 Quote
Randal Shayne Posted September 13 Posted September 13 Quote Alene grunted something of a reply and looked the stuffed animal straight in its dead, glassy eyes. Before she stuffed him down her front she scowled. Torado: ::to the plush:: No funny business, got it? The stuffed animal did not reply, but Alene was sure she'd got her point across. She pushed it—feet first—down her duty uniform jacket, and then zipped it up until she was sure it couldn't fall out. The plush toy’s head tucked under her chin, and she looked to Zenno expectantly. I love the "scary people dealing with small children and their comfort objects" theme. @Nolen Hobart knows how to write a Marine. 1 1 2 Quote
+ Talia Ohnari Posted September 13 Posted September 13 Quote Nicholotti: =/\= To all Lattice Alliance ships and forces; you have picked the wrong day and the wrong people to bring this fight to. You have ten minutes to withdraw, or I will take care of that for you. Your time starts now. =/\= 3 Quote
+ Talia Ohnari Posted September 13 Posted September 13 Quote Brenner: Well... ::stutters:: I'm a helmsman, not an engineer. I know just as much as you do about cables and stuff. We're better off waiting until the engineers do their thing. 2 Quote
+ Talia Ohnari Posted September 16 Posted September 16 Quote Bolians, as a species, were incredibly casual about sex. Depending on the situation it could be treated no more seriously than friendly handshake between friends… or several friends. But there was always the timing. And Mister Quirkle-Birkle did not seem like an insensible type of plushie. Humans especially were so enraptured with sexual constraints and contexts. He had neither the time nor the inclination to adjudicate the issue now. Mr. Quirkle-Birkle is a perfect gentleman. 2 Quote
+ Talia Ohnari Posted September 18 Posted September 18 Quote With the help of Crewman Astrid and an assortment of Khitomer personnel with her, and with no shortage of struggle, Alene, Zenno, Sabira, and Mr. Quirkle-Birkle exited the turbolift shaft. There were wounds to heal, reports to write, bodies to recover, and stiff liquor to drink. And at the end of it all, there had to be a soft mattress somewhere that Alene could lay down in and sleep for a few weeks. @Nolen Hobartsaid it. We are all drinking and sleeping for a few weeks. 3 Quote
+ Talia Ohnari Posted September 21 Posted September 21 Quote There was a replicator, two chairs, a table and a window, and it provides some notion of how shockingly boring it was that this has already been described in a previous sim, and it’s still the most interesting thing to discuss about his surroundings. Wait. What’s a sim? Captain broke the fourth wall.....CAPTAIN BROKE THE FOURTH WALL!!!!! 1 1 Quote

+ Talia Ohnari Posted September 25 Posted September 25 Quote It was a safe bet- if he wasn’t, the pony-loving health-zealot he was pleased to call a CMO would not have let him take two steps out of her sight. But he’d learned to maintain a safe boundary around medical matters; if he tolerated invasions of his privacy poorly, what else could he expect from others, even if he claimed he had a right to know? It all boiled down to trust- in his crew, in regulations. In himself. HEEEY!!!! I resemble that remark. 2 Quote
+ Talia Ohnari Posted September 25 Posted September 25 Quote Zenno: ::clears throat:: Greetings. I wish to inquire about a refugee child named Sabira and her companion Mister Quirkle-Birkle. They were displaced from Deep Space 33 after the recent invasion. Awww goodest blueberry going straight for the feeeeeeelllllssss 😭❤️ 1 1 Quote
+ Talia Ohnari Posted September 26 Posted September 26 Quote Talina: I don't think I got to properly thank you before, for rescuing me from that storeroom. I thought I was done for. Can't believe I didn't even notice that hatch in the floor. My ghost would have been mortified if you guys hadn't gotten me out. @Talina Laika would make a totally adorable ghost. But thankfully, the resuce was in time!!! 1 Quote

+ Ras El Heem Posted September 27 Posted September 27 Quote And there it was. Somehow, Talia had gained a reputation for prosthetics. She looked at her shelf, with Armand basking on his velvet pillowed perch, freshly oiled. The little arm had survived an Orion syndicate chop shop, the partial destruction of the Arrow’s Sickbay, and then….Well. Yes. You seem surprised @Talia Ohnari. Are you surprised? Why are you surprised? 3 Quote
+ Talia Ohnari Posted September 27 Posted September 27 Quote He was unbothered. Moisturized. Happy. In his Lane. Focused. Flourishing. It was surprising what a solid eight hours sleep could do for a person. After what felt like months, but really only added up to weeks, maybe a month tops. He was finally getting the chance to relax and rest. And it was glorious! Things just looked brighter, people just seemed happier – and less annoying! Truly, his moon sign or something was rising and Mercury was no longer retrograding. @Richard Matthews out there living his Moo Deng life 3 Quote

+ Ras El Heem Posted September 28 Posted September 28 Quote With a wry smile, Richard ended his log. He had no real plans for the day, he was just excited to not have to go to the labs to see El’Heem for testing. . . Again. Lab testing isn’t that bad! @Richard Matthews 4 Quote
Popular Post + Talia Ohnari Posted September 29 Popular Post Posted September 29 Quote The 6 foot something lumbering lizard ran to the fridge and swung the doors open to see what they were working with. Inside lay the land of milk and honey. Well at least there was real milk and real honey but there were so many other real ingredients, too. Ras almost betrayed his masculinity and squealed but he held it together as he partially closed the fridge door to peer around it at the others. Squee away my manly mushroom dragon!! 5 Quote
Zenno Posted September 30 Posted September 30 Quote Mrs. Migliani: An emergency? What is it? T'Hirral: An emergency is when something bad has happened that requires immediate attention. But that is not important right now. An Airplane (the movie) reference will always fill me with joy. From @Lera Michaels 3 Quote
