The Unity Dow rocked a little, as the torpedo blew a hole in the cargo bay. Hopefully it would be large enough that the nodes would be able to find their way to the Wild Seed

It's like the only term I know from rugby. So I had to use it. Though I did watch some women's Rugby matches during this Olympics. I didn't absorb anything but I did go "this would be funny if Caras was doing this"

I don't know much about rugby either. Google is my friend in this. I've learnt a lot about the sport since writing for Lhandon. It's also had the (and I'm not complaining about this) side effect of filling my tiktok feed up with rugby players.

Sh’shelor had said what Morro’s little inner green devil had thought. But she actually had said it aloud. Morro was too strict on his own military bearing to tell a senior officer to shut up. Even if they were his friend. The circumstances were too long for him to do that. StarFleet was all about respect, and earning your position. Morro was both surprised, and intrigued, this was the one bit of personality he had seen from her that wasn’t just “Marine” in his mind. Was she being playful? Morro was pretty sure she meant it, but… why did she mean it?

It's part of the reason we don't punch the incompetent admirals that showed up in TNG and DS9. It's less paperwork to deal with a major diplomatic innocent then it is to deal with the assault of an Admiral.
