While checking my email to make notes for the mission archive, I was greeted by Jo's sim header, which reassured me that we, the lower deckers, are in good hands with our senior officers. :D

It was likely the last view on the ground of Ura Neteos III Jovenan would ever see. Much damage had been done to the people of this planet, willingly or not, and she regretted that she, and her friends and colleagues, were forced to be a part of that continuum. Still, just before the beam from somewhere far above would dematerialize her, she thought that they had done more than just damage. Maybe, just maybe, the next time an Edo, Betazoid, Galadorian, Human, however it may be, laid their feet on this ground again, it was by a willing invitation of an advanced, mature civilization of the Meirashi. Who knows, maybe they would still remember her by then, in the stories of old.

Hopefully not.

I've missed @Jovenan's writing 😭The poetry of it!

Bergmen: Aye, cap. As you say - aviate, navigate, communicate.

As a fellow professional in the aviation industry, I loved seeing the real world reference! @Ollie Bergmen

Salkath: ::drolly:: If I am required to phaser another fur-covered creature, my reputation will be irreparably tarnished.

No one told you to shoot that poor Squirreldog, @Salkath! 'REQUIRED' INDEED 😤

For Kolya he had obviously chosen something that was age appropriate. Although Vitor now realized that could also be the lamp's possible nemesis. A football.

Silveira: And that Kolya is a football, it’s an exact replica from the one that Portugal, my home place, used when they won their first major international competition.
I will set us up a holoprogram for us to play with it. Its a good exercise and someone has to teach you some proper games.

This gift made me go "Uh, actually!"

Until I read the next line.

He winked again at Sada, he could have always offered to teach Kolya how to fire the ships weapons instead.

At which point I had to admit a good point was made, and that life does indeed offer small mercies 😑 @Vitor S. Silveira, I concede this point to you.

Jovenan hoped Doctor Sadar would forgive her, but desensitization was an effective, even if dated method of treating allergies as well. Exposure to Captain MacKenzie’s benevolent nature in small quantities in a long period of time may help Doctor Sadar to learn to know her better and not be so nervous around her, just as Jovenan had learnt – was learning – would learn as well.

@Jovenan - WHAT HAS GILA EVER DONE TO YOU!? WHY WOULD YOU DO THIS TO HER!?
