    Howdy Skarbekians! We're at the tail end of May and of our time in the Skarbek-verse, and what a time we've had! There's been death-defying stunts, awesome explosions, some utterly heartbreaking sims, and plenty of clever quips! So, let's crown April's funniest quote, shall we? A quick explanation for our newest crew member: every month, Kara (AKA our favorite angsty doctor, Tagren-Quinn) and I compile all the sim quotes that made us giggle, pick one for each player, and send out a poll for the ship to choose a Quote of the Month. Everyone is welcome to submit quotes, everyone gets to vote, and every month there's a winner's badge and bragging rights for our champion wordsmith. This month, the winner is... Seva: ...I guess we have a prisoner now. I've never had a prisoner before. Congrats, Seva! Winning your very first month on board is impressive! I can't wait to see what else you've got in store for us. Cheers, y'all!

    I loved this sim from our newest recruit @SevaReeshe! It's so witty, she had me giggling throughout while still maintaining the seriousness of the characters' situation. And the way she carefully incorporated Seva's backstory and skill set, comparing their situation to a final exam and referencing her father's stories, it's all so well done. Fabulous work, keep it up!

    Howdy Gorkonites! Hang on, it's been another month already? I guess the old saying is true, time flies when you're antagonizing Cardassians!     Howdy Skarbekians! Congratulations on making it through a whole month of fighting Cardassians with only minimal injuries and moderate trauma! That's an impressive accomplishment (especially with all these spontaneous explosions and dangerous plots), give yourself a pat on the back for me. Extra pats on the back are owed to our February Quote of the Month winner, who blessed us with this gem: (Tagren-Quinn) Hopefully, Blondie wouldn’t have a Croaker-shaped rug in her living quarters on the Skarbek after this. Here lies the impulsive doctor who almost killed us all. Congrats! Now, a Croaker-shaped rug would be a fun interior design choice, but I think we've still got plenty of use for you alive. 😉 Keep your laser eyes peeled for the March poll soon, and in the meantime, kick some Spoonhead butt! In all seriousness, the holidays kicked my butt (who knew having more family meant having more family obligations? shocking, I tell you), so thanks for your patience on this delayed but well-deserved award. Y'all are the best, most talented crew (in my own totally unbiased opinion), and as has been said many times this week, I feel honored to write with you and call you friends. Now, I am proud to present the November winner's badge to our very own First Officer (writing as the lovely Meg Bendyn)... (Bendyn) She felt like a true engineer now, holding the most important tool of every engineer in hand. If something did not work, whack it with the wrench. Congrats, Sami!
