  2. Though I really love great stories, it really is about the quality, not the quantity
  3. A belated congratulations and welcome to the fleet guys. Have fun with the real thing once you are posted on a ship.
  4. Well done ENSIGNS, welcome to the fleet
  5. ::Opens a crate of Romulan-ale.:: Here's to our new wonderful simmers. Welcome to the Fleet !!!
  6. "The Original Series (often abbreviated TOS) ran on NBC from 1966 through 1969, for a total of three seasons and 78 episodes (counting the two-part "The Menagerie" only once, and not counting the first commissioned pilot, "The Cage," which did not air during this time)." - source: Startrek.com - http://www.startrek.com/startrek/view/feat...ticle/7693.html
  7. Today I recieved an e-mail from UPN as a response to my, and many other people's mail, concerning Enterprise. I have posted a copy below for your information. ----------------------------------- Hello, Thank you for writing to UPN. The STAR TREK legacy has spanned nearly four decades and has spawned five television series. Ten years ago, STAR TREK: VOYAGER was instrumental in helping launch UPN. The latest incarnation, STAR TREK: ENTERPRISE, has reached the culmination of its journey. This painstaking decision came after it was recognized that despite having many loyal fans like you, the audience for the show was declining steadily. Therefore, ENTERPRISE is set to decommission and will be given a grand send-off on Friday, May 13th at 8 PM ET/PT on UPN. This does not mean that STAR TREK is gone forever. Paramount, the studio that produced all five television series and ten feature films, is looking forward to the next chapter of the STAR TREK saga. We know that this information may not make you feel any better but we want you to know how much we appreciate your input and we sincerely hope that you will continue to share your thoughts with us in the future. Cordially, UPN Viewer Services ------------------------------------------------ For a standard e-mail from a large coorperation, I must say they know how to answer lol Not what I wanted to hear though. But I won't give up yet.
  8. You could post such a thread here in example. Or the Nonsense! department, but I would advise against the latter.
  9. Read some Dutch history, it's filled with violence back in the days we were still one of the largest empires in the world..... looooong ago. But I am not a violent man, and if you don't believe me we can always step outside
  10. Yes, and the naughty people cut it of just before the end of the season ith the Xindi!!! All we got was the return of NX Enterprise at earth. you know, when they discover something is wrong and we all get to see an ugly grey alien in a Nazi uniform bending over Archer who was presumed dead after that Xindi weapon exploded. That, is when they stopped Enterprise...the brutality, the infantile bunch of programming (some sort of Dutch muttering sound)
  11. No Ssam...once is not enough And Kirk was a nice captain... in his time. If he were to "live" in the post Voyager era, he wouldn't make it to lieutenant. My vote still goes to Picard... and Janeway (but her annoying voice gives Jean-Luc an advantage)
  12. You funny people amuse me. But...I have to remind you to stick to the topics here. If it is chatter you want, please visit our lovely "nonsense!" department
  13. Admiral Wolf is working on it, and they will return ASAP indeed.
  14. Second out of five isn't bad...but being no 1 is better! Go Picard!!! Go boldy!!!!
  15. The only phrases Seven used were "Comply" and "explain". As for the NX Enterprise, those aren't returning catchy phrases, just one time sentences. Data, Bones and Scotty always used a similar phrase all througout their series. Bones did: "I'm a doctor, not an escalator" and "He's dead Jim". In several combinations of course. Data always says something like: "It is theoretically possible sir" or " interesting suggestion lieutenant" Those are "Catch phrases". hope you understand it now Rockt By the way, I voted for Bones. It is a great art to prenounce someone's death in several different styles by just changeing the intonation or word order. "He's dead Jim!" " Jim, he's dead!" " He is dying! " "We are dying!" "He will die!" "Dead Jim, dead!" "He is dead Captain" "Captain, he died!" " We are all doomed!!!"
  16. Of cours I won't hold it against you...I still feel like a lt.

  23. Ah, come on... Whoopi is good Trek
  24. Two words... old sock! Because that's all he was before he died... pfff... I choose janeway above all. Apart from the annoying nostral sound she makes when she talks ( ), I like her style. She pales those males!
  25. Hmm... guess I'm less demanding then you are...or just stupid blind
