::He did not enjoy violence, but preferred to solve problems with his mind. Strategy, reason, and problem solving were how battles were won. When it came down to it though, it didn't hurt that he was strong enough to punch a mans nose through the back of his skull.::

Technically it hurts the guy who's nose went through the back if his skull....note to self...befriend Lt. Kro immediately.

Tatash: The lovely Ensign Aitas has given us some good news, the warbird is estimated to be at negative 19.73 percent effectiveness. Add that in to the simulation and let's see what happens.

Careful, you'll make her blush. :P

::Taelon flushed bright red, the color edging to his ears. He didn’t handle praise well, being unaccustomed to it - he responded with a squeak of ‘yes, sir’ as the Marine’s combadge chirped.::

Taelon: ::The thumbs up made the El-Aurian’s large eyes seem to grow bigger, a luminescent blush flowing over his angular features.:: I, uh, thank you, sir...glad to be of use...

Awwww. <3

L'Trena: =/\= You worry too much, Captain.  That cannot be good for your blood pressure. =/\=

::Since when was L'Trena a doctor?  Sal's dark eyes widened and then narrowed.::

As a doctor, I can comfortably say L'Trena is suffering from acute idiocy. There is no cure...

::Sal's jaw dropped fractionally.  Mentally it felt like it landed on the floor and he had to pick it up with a shovel.::

An appropriate response.

:: Trel’lis sighed, recalling what was on the communique she’d handed to Whittaker. The fact that Kinney seems to *want* them dead, was *not* comforting at all. If they did survive this, she would have a few *choice*, NON-diplomatic words for that man! Right now, her diplomatic training, had to prevail. ::

At some point we WILL have a confrontation with Kinney... everybody get your NON-diplomatic words ready... o:)

::Brilliant.  His dark eyes narrowed at the viewscreen where the Avalon was picked up on long range sensors.  There she was, just sitting there like a big, pregnant, naive cat with a belly full of angry kittens.

Still, kittens verses a massive bird of prey usually lost, no matter how angry they were.::

Poor kittens. D:

Major kudos to Tatash on this - what a great piece of description:

Quote

::The Negh'var continued to float around the Albion like a guardian angel before she turned, belching out a string of torpedo's into the Sienov which twisted in response, explosions covering part of the swept wing and main body leaving her looking like she was literally wincing in pain. A solid, painful hit that took out one of her green engines, breaches pockmarking the formally invulnerable surface.

She turned, limping back towards the purpleish cloud she'd emerged from like an angry spider heading back to it's web.::

::Glancing around, she really wanted to say "All of the help", but managed a slightly more diplomatic response.::

Whittaker: It's like I told you Doct-

:: And he fell silent as the chief medical officer- and his best friend- launched into a harangue. :

Can't really blame Mirra on that one.

Phrik: He won’t be needing his legs after this, so there’s some comfort at least.

Always a silver lining!....I think...

::Mirra stalked down the hallway, her black eyes blazing a fire all their own. It was a wonder her flaming hair hadn't ignited at this point.::

Quote

Ezo: ::angrily:: DON'T YOU "DOCTOR" ME THEO!! You are not the Chief of Engineering anymore!! Look down at your RED collar and be reminded that Sal and every other member of this crew does NOT need our Executive Officer ALWAYS running to the proverbial or in this case, LITERAL flames every time there is the slightest threat of danger!!! You have too many people depending on you to act so incredibly reckless!!

And there's our CMO, keeping it real.

:: Theo nodded solemly. Antraydin had yet to experience the fury of Mirra Ezo in all its frightening glory... although he expected that was about to change. He turned to see her obsidian eyes flaring with outrage as she stalked down the debris strewn corridor intent on making life as difficult as possible for both men. He barely had chance to register that Mirra looked fantastic as she stormed down the corridor, her fiery red hair and her stern gaze seemingly causing a firestorm of their own. ::

Flattery will get you NOWHER...ok fine I forgive you. 😆

Taelon: We could blow the nebula up. If it doesn’t knock him out outright, it’ll force him out of the Cloud - and likely damage the warbird in the process.

I think Tyler's going to like this plan.

Flynn: You can do that?! oO Note to self, always bring a scientist to a gunfight. Oo

Apparently you can.

Phrik: ::Dryly.:: I can tie one behind my back if it’ll make you bipeds feel better. Where’s sickbay on this thing?

Too many arm jokes lately. ;)

Phrik: ::Muttering:: I’m too damn old for this

Is anyone the appropriate age for crashing shuttles...?

Kasun: Miiirrraaaa. :: Even in her delirious state she could tell she sounded whiny. :: Kelly sir won’t let me walk.

And that speech pattern is precisely why he won't let you walk.

Kelly:We did a few post-touchdown acrobatics. ::He climbed his way up to her.:: Let's get you down from there.

Damn that Zel and his showboating ways....:D

::Taelon looked at Taybrim wild-eyed for a half second, still caught up in the flurry of terror. His half sister might be bloody jam on the shuttle bay floor, the Major might be dying -

Mourn later. It was a surprisingly cold though, matter-of-fact and ruthless. He blinked once, twice, and looked back to his console.::

A very poignant moment from our mad scientist

::The Risian gave him a solemn nod. The man was essentially about to hit a Hornets nest REALLY hard with a stick..::

Everyone? Duck.
