Hello there!
 
I am Rebecca, a born and bred Dutchie.   (i.e. from the Netherlands) 
Yes, I love mills, cheese and tulips 🌷, but I do not wear clogs. 
 
When I was a kid I wanted to be an astronaut. 👩‍🚀
When I was a teenager, I saw Star Trek on tv 🪐, studied hard and I still wanted to be an astronaut. 👩‍🚀 
When I had to choose a university, I chose Aeronautical Engineering (i.e. How to build an aircraft) ✈️, and still wanted to be an astronaut. 👩‍🚀 
 
However, in my twenties I was wiser and knew the chances of becoming an astronaut were slim.
So--dream adjustment-- instead of going into space myself, I would build stuff that goes into space. 🚀
When I graduated I took a job in a company that built small stuff that goes into space!
7 years later, I had the opportunity to apply for a job in a company that builds complete satellites 🛰️, so I quit my old job, packed all my stuff in my trusty Toyota and drove to Germany. 🚗💨
 
Now in my mid-thirties, I am a happy single foreigner living in a one bedroom ground floor appartment with access to garden where I grow tulips, fruits and veggies and enjoy the occasional sunshine. 🌞
 
I chose to join the rpg group because I used to write Star Trek fan fiction stories ✒️, but my inspiration has run dry a bit, and I think writing with others will fire up my creative brain again!
