Don't quack like a duck, soar like the USS Eagle!  Quotes, quips, things that make you laugh, things that make you cry, they all go here!

Lim: ::smiling impishly:: You can think of one as ‘I barely notice any pain’ and ten as ‘I feel like I just got mauled by a pack of wolves and don’t want to ever move again’ if that helps.

Next time I need to do a pain scale, I am using this!

Set up as almost an afterthought, Kali knew that it was forward thinking that had actually brought it together. Her crystalline eyes scanned for pastries with a slight tinge of concern, but when she saw none she could only grin slightly to herself. No pastries meant that no one could blow a hole in her ship and let them escape.

Oh just wait...

Can't take all the credit for it. I adapted it from one of these scales:

Note to self: look up what kind of craziness humans were up to during their 1940s.

Kettick doesn't want to know.

The man was scratching his cranial fur, something humans tended to do when thinking. Kettick wondered if their neurons could be stimulated by kinetic energy through their skull.

Yes, of COURSE that's why they do it!

Drex: Teleportation and communications and technology in any form might not work, a month on the Ring and you'd understand very well what I mean :: He smiled faintly at the Betazoid. :: We need water, food and these.

Drex picked up a pale green stick and bent it: the stick began to emit a yellow-greenish glow.

Drex: From Alix Harford.

Falt: You'll still get that wish. I think you should team up with Drex and try to find out what's causing this. Before you go there are also some chemical glow sticks in the Emergency storage, I'd suggest you grab some. I made them a standing part of our kits after the incident aboard the Juneau last year.

In the darkness Tomas couldn't see if she'd nodded in agreement or not, but the next voice he heard belonged to Williams.

Williams: Where do you want my people, captain? Do a deck-by-deck search first, or would you like them outside to provide protection? Or something else?

Nicholotti: Response

Williams: Aye aye. I’ll see to the first, Ch’Clex see to the second. First, we should grab some old radio devices to keep in touch. We have a few in the armory.  Along with old -non-energy- weapons. Make sure to grab a few and pass them around.

Ch’Clex: Response

DeVeau: I’m heading back to the Sensor Lab. Be careful everyone.

Williams: Well, if you’ll excuse me, I have 9 decks to climb. I’ll meet you all outside. The good part is we won't have to drag crates through the tubes. We can take out the equipment at the bay.

Williams: ::looking at Ch’Clex:: Will you join me?

Ch’Clex: Response?

Falt: Don't forget your glow sticks!

@Alix Harford's quick thinking and preparation has left a lasting impression!  Gone, but not forgotten!
