Popular Post + Gila Sadar Posted October 7, 2023 Popular Post Posted October 7, 2023 Is there something called ‘Love at Seventh Sim’? @Talia Ohnari has got me completely head over heels with her CMO after this latest Sim, which just is so filled with personality, its just MARVELOUS! 😍 Quote ((Sickbay, Deck 3, USS Arrow, en route to survey system)) Talia was....struggling. At the current moment, she was standing in the doorway of the acting CMO's office. Which was her. She was watching the newly arrived Ensign Piweh work. She hadn't been prepared for their arrival, which was the current dilemma. They were the first Bzzit Khaht she had ever met. Not terribly shocking, as the amphibian resembling race was on the more rare side, despite their Federation status. No, the problem was entirely Talia. She loved frogs. Her entire family loved frogs. On the family compound they had a muskeen fruit bog, and in doing so, they utilized a symbiotic relationship with the local amphibians. They got a safe pond to thrive, and in exchange they merked the local pest population which resulted in a higher yield. Everyone was happy. And the fact that the frogs themselves were ridiculously adorable. Now? There was a new doctor who happened to resemble her favorite little muskeen fruit bog dweller. She was going to lose her complete mind. Hobart: Hey, Lieutenant Wubber, I brought you something. Talia jumped, she had been so engrossed in her memories, she hadn't even noticed that Nolen had arrived. Ohnari: ::eyes wide:: Oh! Nolen, thank the Gods. His arrival was fortuitous, but her self control was thinning by the moment. In a panic, she grasped the front of his jacket and yanked him forcefully to follow her. Once across the threshold of the office, she nearly collapsed against the now closed door. Hobart: A gift! A gift! I brought you a gift, I’m sorry! I found it on Raft One, thought you’d like it. He was offering her something, but she didn't have the capacity to register anything at all he had just said. She grasped the unknown gift and set it down on the desk before double fisting the poor engineer's jacket and yanking him closer. Ohnari: Please tell me you saw them. Out there. Hobart: The, uh, yeah, the Zibber Zabber, right? That’s the species. Haven’t really met them, but they seem nice. Ohnari: Bzzit Khaht. Ensign Piweh. Completely lovely. Hobart: Response? Her frantically wide eyes were even wider, to the point of pain. Taking a deep, steady inhale, the entire lapse in sanity came flooding out. Ohnari: ::whisper shouting:: I love frogs! My whole family, we love them, on the farm, the-they live in the muskeen bog and we have little songs we sing when we harvest so we don't scare them and every spring we literally have a frog appreciation festival ::shaking the man violently:: A freaking FESTIVAL!! WhatamIgonnado?!? They can't ever see my quarters. I have frog print pajamas and pillow cases and they are so freaking adorable I want to pick them up and hug them because I've dreamt of having a giant huggable frog since I was four!! ::now she was shouting:: FOUR NOLEN!!! ::breathing heavily:: Hobart: Response? The distressed Haliian finally released the poor engineer and doubled over, breathing heavily with her hands on her knees. It was clear she had been holding that in. Hobart: Response? Slowly, Talia seemed to get a hold of herself, and nodded slightly. Ohnari: ::slightly out of breath:: Yeah...I think so. If I didn't get that out, I was at risk of offending our newest crew member and then having to beg the Captain to transfer me to Beta shift. ::slowly standing:: Thank you. ::smiling sheepishly, she began fixing his jacket that she had seriously rumpled:: Sorry for the um...accosting.
