Rocar Drawoh Posted April 16, 2005 Posted April 16, 2005 If you go to http://www.starbase118.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=2226and click new Topic then you should be able to create a thread for your entry. Good LuckRocar
Junokhayne Posted April 16, 2005 Posted April 16, 2005 I'm not a senior member .. I can only reply to posts .. not make new threads. I sent a PM to Admiral Wolf. Hopefully, he will grant me permission. Jalek
Idril Mar Posted April 24, 2005 Posted April 24, 2005 Just as an FYI Rocket, its better (and easier to read) if you put the story into one big post rather than breaking it up into several smaller ones. Jenn
Rocket Posted April 24, 2005 Posted April 24, 2005 I know Idril, but I'm typing it in word. And it's all the time little bits. But I'm not even halfway, but your right.ooc: I'm sorry if my post contains some grammer errors but I don't have a english spell check in my word. Only a dutch spell check. As I'm typing it in word it already is showing that it is filled with grammer errors but that's normal as it only knows dutch words and of course the english words are fault because he only uses dutch for it.I'll try to get on yahoo but *ahum* my moms pc doesn't allow it. But to get back on my post. I'll try Idril.
Guest Barile Posted April 24, 2005 Posted April 24, 2005 Can a cadet awaiting training enter the writing challenge???
Jordan aka FltAdmlWolf Posted April 24, 2005 Author Posted April 24, 2005 Sure. I'm not one to stifle creativity. You'll have to send it to me to be posted, however. Just PM me with the story.
Rocket Posted April 25, 2005 Posted April 25, 2005 Wolf a question, do you mind I post it in bits? Cause I'm still writing it.
Jordan aka FltAdmlWolf Posted April 25, 2005 Author Posted April 25, 2005 The contest doesn't end until the end of May. It's best if you write it, compile it all together, and then post it at one time once it's completed.
Rocket Posted April 25, 2005 Posted April 25, 2005 k, thanks. I hope I can get some time this week as I'm kinda tired from work and than I need some fanta to get the words out of my head.
Idril Mar Posted April 25, 2005 Posted April 25, 2005 Ok, I like Fanta as much as the next girl, but as an aid for writing? That's new on me. Rocket: If you'd like, I will run it through a US-English spellcheck for you once the whole thing is posted.
Rocket Posted April 27, 2005 Posted April 27, 2005 I think that would be a great idea Idril. Hope you have some time as it's already over the 14 pages long in my word file.
Devlin Posted April 27, 2005 Posted April 27, 2005 14 I am writing one and its only a page and a half so far, not even sure if it will be done by may 5
Rocket Posted April 27, 2005 Posted April 27, 2005 Well I'm still working on it and as we speak it reached 15 and a half pages.
Captain Robin Phoenix Posted April 28, 2005 Posted April 28, 2005 Though I really love great stories, it really is about the quality, not the quantity
Idril Mar Posted April 28, 2005 Posted April 28, 2005 Please remember that there is a word-count limit, detailed in the posting of the challenge. We judges are human, after all.
Rhys Bejain Posted April 29, 2005 Posted April 29, 2005 You know, if I get an essay in that goes over the word limit, I make a red line and don't mark anything beneath that line.
