Guest Posted July 25, 2008 Posted July 25, 2008 Hmmm, very thoughtful topic this round. Should be some interesting entries.
Salak Posted July 25, 2008 Posted July 25, 2008 *throws in towel already*Even if I had the time at the mo to do a Writing Challenge entry, not sure the topic is one for me. Will prob sit this one out.Intentionally, rather than due to not finishing my entry for once
James T. Kolk Posted July 25, 2008 Posted July 25, 2008 If at hundred-and-eighty-seventh you don't succeed, throw in the towel, eh Sal?Well, I'm gonna give it a shot. I can't pass up a topic with Latin in it!
Salak Posted July 25, 2008 Posted July 25, 2008 LOL, something like that. Got a lot on my plate at the minute.Plus if I dash expectations now, it'll be an even bigger surprise if I do actually wind up entering by accident

Why not write something to support the effort, win or lose.Besides, you'll never know if you can win if you don't try.
Salak Posted July 25, 2008 Posted July 25, 2008 (edited) As said above, no time and don't wanna get anyones hopes up.Not ruling out a possible entry at some point in the future, just prob not this round (really busy month, incl. my mum's 40th next week.) Edited July 25, 2008 by Salak

James T. Kolk Posted August 19, 2008 Posted August 19, 2008 Salak, I think your defeatist attitude was contageous. Very low turn out this round. I hope we get a few more this week...
Salak Posted August 19, 2008 Posted August 19, 2008 There are usually a few late entries, aren't there?
Idril Mar Posted August 19, 2008 Posted August 19, 2008 Typically... even by people who say they aren't gonna enter. *looks at Salak*
Salak Posted August 19, 2008 Posted August 19, 2008 (edited) I stick by what I said before.I can 99% guarantee I will not be submitting this time around, for various reasons (incl. medical grounds) Edited August 19, 2008 by Salak
Jophry Posted August 19, 2008 Posted August 19, 2008 Righty, I'm coming to the rescue with a short filler
James T. Kolk Posted August 20, 2008 Posted August 20, 2008 See! I was right! Confirmation from the Great Wolf of the Galaxy...
Toni Posted August 21, 2008 Posted August 21, 2008 With so many creative writers among us here at SB118, a low turn out is very disappointing. What can I do to help Admiral?
Jordan aka FltAdmlWolf Posted August 21, 2008 Author Posted August 21, 2008 With so many creative writers among us here at SB118, a low turn out is very disappointing. What can I do to help Admiral?Well, the contest continues until midnight on the 23rd. Spread the word?

Toni Posted August 29, 2008 Posted August 29, 2008 Nice to see you entering again, Ben. The buttons right over the "Add Reply" is where you add the Arrow. It's the one marked with the ">" arrow sign.

Guest Posted September 1, 2008 Posted September 1, 2008 Wow. talk about nappy-brained. you've got to worry when you can't remember your own name...
James T. Kolk Posted September 1, 2008 Posted September 1, 2008 So, just to clarify: "nappy-brained" means "daiper-brained", right? I hope for your sake, Jhen, she doesn't remember that comment at our next promotion/demotion ceremony...
