DEEP SPACE 224 – THE BORDERLANDS – After dealing with radiation, minor injuries, a false idol, and milking worms, the crew of the USS Artemis (NCC-81287) wrapped up the clean-up and recovery efforts on Ura Neteos III and have earned a much-needed shore leave.

After several lengthy missions and aiding and prolonged stay in Sector 001 after Frontier Day, many of the newer crew members had yet to spend time at the Artemis’ home port of Deep Space 224. It made perfect sense for Fleet Captain Addison MacKenzie to order the crew to spend shore leave there. Some of the more senior crew enjoyed refamiliarizing themselves with the station that many of them consider a home away from home.

Meanwhile, Lieutenant Gila Sadar reported for duty after a brief leave and lead a small crew on the USS-Griffin to Kahines II. There they will assist in an archaeological expedition alongside a team from a nearby Klingon Research Outpost. Joining Lieutenant Sadar are Ensigns Ollie Bergmen, Imril, Lyara Alroyo, LtJG Gnai and PO3 Xandeus Filistrien. The small but hearty crew will begin to survey and analyze the freshly uncovered Klingon ruins that had been buried for centuries.

Back aboard the Artemis, a familiar face has emerged from Amity Outpost. Civilian Science Liaison Samantha Richards has arrived to reconnect with the members of the Artemis she came to know during and after the Frontier Day attacks. As shore leave continues for the crew of the USS Artemis they all continue to recharge before whatever awaits them ahead.
