Charles Matthews Posted November 5 Posted November 5 @Christopher Caldwell had me laughing at his sims, yet again. Channeling his inner Mr Freeze with a series of puns below; https://groups.google.com/g/sb118-astraeus/c/2pIMmbOwpZg/m/tKQrU27UBAAJ Then the way he wrote his character still yearning after Commander Kiax, and seeing competition from Matthews that just isn't there 😂 https://groups.google.com/g/sb118-astraeus/c/x-Deo-DXDvY/m/TnS5yT3lAAAJ Also, brilliant sims as always. The Trek knowledge, especially in the second sim, is really good and it allows you something to consider and bounce off as a writer. 4 Quote
+ Christopher Caldwell Posted November 9 Posted November 9 Just a quick shout out to @Sevantha , I'm enjoying @Alix Harford and @Sevantha working on their proposal (even if they are ugly bags of mostly water 😂) but especially loved the call back to the Microbrain from TNG. https://groups.google.com/g/sb118-astraeus/c/p_ETmLB8_Gc 3 Quote
Popular Post + Sevantha Posted November 14 Popular Post Posted November 14 Quote After a few minutes both mothers appeared on the screen and Divya almost burst out in tears at the sight of the beautiful women who she was so angry with and had missed more than she knew possible. @Divya Tam This is one of the most beautiful, relatable statements I have read in the follow up to Frontier Day. I love seeing these moments of Tam. 5 Quote
+ Christopher Caldwell Posted November 16 Posted November 16 @Divya Tam getting two appreciations in a row! This time for Away We Go – Part 1 Really enjoyed Tam's excitement for being chosen for an away mission and for her suggestion of redesignating 'the cloud' as the "cotton candy field". 2 Quote
+ Christopher Caldwell Posted December 9 Posted December 9 @Alix Harford get's an appreciation for her sim - Ladies and gentlemen, the Captain has turned off the Fasten Seat Belt sign. there's lots I like in this sim but her reaction to being on lunch duty is priceless. Quote oO Dead. He’s dead. I’ll take the court martial. Is he unaware of just how many ways to kill a man a Trauma Specialist would know? Oo 1 1 Quote
+ Alix Harford Posted December 10 Posted December 10 @Divya Tam Divya's reaction to Harford storming out of the cockpit angry at Lt. Caldwell was priceless! Quote Tam: I’ll take the helm. ::raising an eyebrow at Caldwell:: If you want to brave the atmosphere back there that’s on you, but I am not eating anything she is forced to make. She slid into the pilot seat and hoped she wouldn't have to start the exploration of a new planet by arresting a crew mate for murder. and while we're at it... Although Alix may be pretty ticked off in character, @Christopher Caldwell really set us up for some great humor in his sim The Silver Lining, taking the Pilot shtick to a whole new level. Quote Caldwell: ::putting on a voice to mimic a low quality comm line:: This is your Captain speaking, apologies for the turbulence as a result of bad weather, but you'll be happy to hear that we're through the worst of it and will be arriving at our final destination more or less on schedule. In a moment we'll lift the seating restrictions and you'll be able to move freely around the cabin and within the next few minutes Doctor Harford will begin serving the in-flight meal. 1 1 Quote
