Jo Marshall Posted January 23, 2020 Posted January 23, 2020 Possibly the most anticipated TV series of all time (at least, for us) is due to hit screens worldwide on Friday the 24th January. Reportedly faces have already melted, minds were blown, and there are good things expected all around. What we know already is in the Spoiler Channel it looks interesting. With this in mind, we're looking at getting everyone's thoughts on what you're looking forward to in watching the new series, and anything we might have missed from the list above. We're all very excited to see the continuation of the Picard saga, and more than happy to see Number One is his French Pitbull. What aspect of Picard are you most (or not!) looking forward to? Sling in your vote and don't forget to leave a comment! 2 Quote
+ Hutch Posted January 28, 2020 Posted January 28, 2020 A big, solid, juicy story to dig my teeth into, rooted in the Star Trek setting with some great characters, old and new, please. 2 Quote
Jona ch'Ranni Posted January 29, 2020 Posted January 29, 2020 It is hard to pick just one thing that I'm looking forward to with the series simply because great Trek embodies all of these. I'd have to say "Recurring Characters" is what I'm most looking forward to though. Revisiting Picard and some of his old crew is what makes this story so compelling simply because we grew to love these characters over years of time. Now its been twenty years for them just as it has for us and alot has changed both there and IRL. Seeing how the crawl of time has affected these characters, their viewpoints, their struggles makes them only that more real, more human (or Borg, Betazoid, whatever). Fancy it up with some shots of space, a little pew pew, and a nebula or two and you got yourself some STAR TREK! Quote
