StarBase 118 Staff Posted October 9, 2014 Posted October 9, 2014 While enjoying the carnival-themed shore leave on board one of the station’s holodecks, the crew of the USS Atlantis, NCC-74682, finds itself trapped inside the holodeck by the remnant of the Emergency Medical Hologram-Lieutenant Jade Shryker hybrid hologram from the Atlantis. The holographic subroutine was inadvertently transferred on board Deep Space 26 during routine computer diagnostics by the station’s maintenance crew. The EMH-Shryker entity has proclaimed itself Queen of the holographic program – a fantastical fairy tale and folklore themed realm – and is subjecting the crew to various tests in order to prove their worth before allowing them to escape. The ultimate goal of this quest is to free Lieutenant JG Guinevere Gardener who is trapped in an ice-cage in the highest room of the tallest tower in a dark and foreboding enchanted castle. The crew of the Atlantis separates into three smaller groups in order to solve their individual-assigned tasks – all complete with impossible riddles, dragons, headless corpses and giant marshmallow snowmen! But that’s not all. As everyone ventures deeper into the creepy castle, they find themselves morphing into various Terran fairy tale characters, including ‘Renocchio’, a blue Puss-in-Boots and even Captain Hook! Not only physically, but embodying the personality of those characters as well. So which fairy tale character has your favorite crew member turned into? More importantly, will they be able to save Gwen from eternal slumber? The post Atlantis plot summary for September appeared first on UFOP: StarBase 118 Star Trek RPG. View the full article
