You might need to download a patch unless it is version 1.4 which is painfully slow. I got Dominion wars and XP and it did work. Have not tried to run it since installing the SP2.

I think so too. Never really liked that one. It could have been worse. It could have been the motion picture.

But has he lead the Federation in a successful long term and large scale war?

Insurrection had it's moments but I was not convinced by it at all. Acting was bad in places, few surprises in the plot and the cliche of the Captain going against orders is wearing thin. I got nothing against First Contact.

Yep. It is an easy way of killing someone. Remote mines are pretty good as well.

Out of sniper rounds + adpated to the type two phaser + out of nero thingie's the doc's have + Out of mines + Out fo grenades. = One dead away team member + mission failed.

Assuming our PC's don't wave the white flag. If it happened I hope they opt for generals controls rather than armada's. Armada didn't have enough short cut keys and the controls seemed a bit clumsy. I quite liked away team. Well until the borg missions anyway.

Complain and TNG films go together very well aside from First Contact. I hope they learn from the mistakes of the recent films which seem to be more along the lines of star wars rather than star trek. The over reliance on constant battles all the way through the film just does not help. I love a large battle as much as the next guy but it is kind of pointless if the battle is in the film just for the sake of it.

I'd still kill for a decent plot. Got to improve on Nemesis.

EA games like to think so anyway. Prefer Generals to Yuri's revenge. Maybe The first Red Alert. Kind of miss the opportunity to build a navy which you don't get on Generals.

Never really liked homeworld. I will stick with the Command and Conquer series.

Oh right. Well when you complete it you unlock a new difficulty setting. You got some nice missions ahead. One includes the doomsday machine.

Try the highest level. That is fun if you like dying.
