A great loss to the Star Trek community, and to so many of us personally, those whom he showed that it was OK to be different, to be intelligent, sensitive and steadfast. To stick to your morals and know what is right. And his influence spread far beyond the Trekkie realm. He inspired so many.

His katra is amongst the stars now, boldly going where each of us must one day go. Space is not the final frontier.
