There was a moment, an idea of what to eat and the prep actually began that Rustyy took to look back on things. One of those solemn moments in time that made the present feel like it was paused. Of how the universe continued to throw things at them with such raw ferocity.

Deep down, it kind of scared him.

  2. Even if you're a criminal, always be a *professional* criminal!

Zara: The concept of luck is a mere fallacy. There are those who are prepared and those who are not. The distinction lies in our approach. We must strive to be the epitome of professionalism, leaving no room for chance to intervene.

  3. I absolutely love this description from @Karen Stendhal!

    Quote

Soft, melodic strains of music gently enveloped the surroundings, infusing the atmosphere with a soothing rhythm that seemed to harmonize with the very essence of the moment. The delicate notes, like a caress on the senses, weaved through the air, creating an enchanting backdrop that enhanced the beauty of the scene. It was as if the music itself was a silent participant, contributing to the overall ambiance and weaving a narrative that transcended mere sound, adding an ethereal touch to the already magical setting.

Stendhal: Is a beautiful song! :: she murmured, a soft smile playing on her lips.:: The melody is more than just pleasant; it's as if it's woven from threads of warmth, delicately embracing the soul.

  4. I'm loving the internal narration as @Vitor S. Silveira Tito turns slowly more Vulcan!  ❤️

    Beautiful writing Bruno!

Tito again chose to give them privacy. He almost asked if it was better for him to wait outside. But as before he just tried to do his duty and tried not to bother Sal or Nestira.

He guessed they were in another telepathic conference and stood there waiting.

The confusing moment he had before, when Sal was speaking, was troubling him. He found that his acuteness was sharper, most likely due to his physical differences. But he was worried that, as Arys had noticed in Nestira’s tone of voice, he also was being more deeply affected.

Tito breathed slowly and as before he was quickly able to self control, in a way that was totally unnatural to him. He permitted himself a moment of distraction and allowed his mind to fly to any memories. And his first thought was of Taisa. A smile came to his face when he recalled their meal.

However, the next memory didn’t make any sense to him. He was strolling through a city, with unfamiliar style, side by side with a woman. An older woman. Tito felt he was small, smaller than the others.

Was he daydreaming? A hallucination? He blinked as the image of the memory faded, but like a picture during exposure a sort of “print” was made in mind. The style wasn’t familiar but he quickly guessed it was likely Vulcan.

To his surprise with a little effort he recalled the place's name, ShiKahr.

He tipped his head and shook his head. These were certainly Lieutenant Garev’s memories.

Arys was right and their condition was worsening.

While consciously recalling where to expect Willow’s phaser, Ksivi-Sava was tempted to stay a step behind and let the security officers do the job they were obviously rather proficient at. In passing, he found himself hoping the interloper wouldn’t end up assaulting his body in any particularly terrifying way. Well, at least he was keeping Willow’s body out of it, which was arguably the least he could do to reimburse her for having borrowed that comparatively sanguine brain of hers.

Can I just say how much I am constantly enjoying all of @Ksivi-Sava's narration!  Extremely well written and entertaining!
