  1. Thank you very much! Can't wait to reda them!

  2. Hey dude, sent the books to your live.co.uk address.....Enjoy!

  3. Hi all I happen to have ALL (or at least very nearly all) Star Trek novels upto and including part 2 of the Destiny trilogy in electronic format (.txt). They are compatible with devices such as Kindle and Sony e-Reader or simply to read on a pc. If anyone wants any or all of them let me know and I'll gladly email them over. If anyone wants some recommendations I can do that too. Full index of titles (over 1000 books) can be seen HERE
  4. Still in Academy at the minute, only started on Monday. Having fun though. Ideally Security or Ops (Helm) no idea where as yet

  6. Got posted yet? Or still doing the academy?

What post are you wanting? (sorry for double posts, don't know why it always does that for me)

  8. (Courtesy of Michael Schneider, tvguide.com) Science Channel is boldly going where it hasn't before, partnering with Rod Roddenberry Jr., the son of Star Trek creator Gene Roddenberry, to produce and air the documentary Trek Nation. Trailer - Timed to the 45th anniversary of the original Star Trek, the feature-length special will follow Roddenberry Jr. as he goes on a journey to learn more about his father, while documenting the continued celebration of the show (and its many spinoffs) by fans. Science became aware of the project after finding Roddenberry Jr.'s website. "He's got the keys to the Roddenberry treasure of never-before-seen footage," says the channel's general manager, Debbie Myers. Adds executive producer Bernadette McDaid: "There's footage of Gene's wedding, which has never been seen, as well as footage from the first-ever Star Trek convention... we helped them take this treasure trove and shape it into a two-hour narrative. This is the ultimate first-hand testimony." The documentary includes clips from the show and interviews with original cast members. It also includes interviews from famous fans like George Lucas, J.J. Abrams and Stan Lee. "Star Trek and Roddenberry influenced so many lives," Myers said. Roddenberry Jr. began working on the documentary that would become Trek Nation more than 10 years ago. "My father passed away when I was 17," Roddenberry Jr. says. "I was a rebellious kid, and he was more of an authority figure than a father. I didn't understand Star Trek until he passed away... but then I went to Star Trek conventions, and talked to people, and eventually became so proud of the name 'Roddenberry.'" While Roddenberry first saw the project as an opportunity to do a piece about Star Trek fans, he eventually took the advice to also make it more personal. Trek Nation will air on Science in October. When and if the rest of the world gets it remains to be seen.
  9. Thanks for the welcome, should be fun!

  10. Welcome to the fleet mate.

  11. Welcome to the fleet mate.

  12. I'd like to see them at least shunt the neck and saucer foreward a bit. That's the only real issue I have with the new E. I actually liked the industrial feel of engineering, seemed more real.
  13. It would appear that the next Star Trek movie has finally moved on from "Outline" to scripting and soft-prep. Roberto Orci hints in this interview at San Diego Comic Con that there likely to be changes to the Enterprise for the new film. Orci Interview Hopefully that includes a decent engineering set
  14. Welcome to the Forums! :)
