  1. I will miss some of you more than my heart can hold, some will miss a bit from time to time and some will forget yesterday. Don't miss me I'm not worth. Maybe we meet again in another time and another life, farewell SB118!

  2. I'd like to point to name, it's not Tegan, but Teagan. I thought I may have made mistake, but I checked and in sim I sent it was correct - I know that's a part of the sim and is judged same as the rest with all the mistakes: http://games.groups.yahoo.com/group/sb118-aurora/message/2317
  3. What happens when two or more sims in same round has same number of votes? I saw this: If there is a tie vote, those two sims will continue to the next round of voting for a run-off. What does it mean?
  4. ((Sickbay)) ::Working in a quiet corner of sickbay, DeCosta hummed quietly to herself as she worked on the latest physical results, collating the results for the CMO and the Capt. She sat on a stool, swinging her legs and twirling her shoulder length hair as she worked.:: ::Her boss suddenly appeared at the workstation, leaning against it with a sigh:: Malcolm: DeCosta, I need you to help Dr. Davies in the lab. I'm not sure if there is much you can do at this point, but I'm sure he'd appreciate the help. :: Swinging round in her stool DeCosta slipped to her feet.:: DeCosta: Yes doctor. :: Straightening her dress DeCosta walked out to where Dr. Davies was working. :: DeCosta: I've been sent to assist you doctor. :: Davies looked up from his experiment. Everything he'd been trying had failed, which as a researcher he was used to, but this particular conundrum was starting to frustrate him:: Davies: I'm searching for a antivirus here. ::He looked at her hopefully:: Do you have any experience with semi-organic viruses? DeCosta: I've never heard of such a thing before. Davies: ::raising his eyebrows:: And therein lies the rub. DeCosta: ::Smiling:: I don't mind a bit of rub, shall we get to work on it then? :: A few choice flirtatious comments sprang to Davies mind, but he was too frustrated with his experiment to act on them. He slid a Petri dish toward her and smiled. :: Davies: Be my guest. DeCosta: ::Taking the dish:: Thank you. :: She walked over to the analyser with a wiggle in her step, as always, and began the process of analysing the sample. It generally took a few minutes for the machine to complete its analysis, longer if the sample was more unusual or complex. She watched Davies as she waited for the results. :: DeCosta: You know, you really should come out to play more often. It's no fun being cooped up in a lab all by yourself every day... :: Their conversation was interrupted by the subtle chirping of the machine, its work was done and she hoped it would reveal something useful to them. :: DeCosta: Lets see what we have then... ::Davies propped his elbow on the table and rested his chin in his hand:: Davies: I guarantee you're not going to like what it says. DeCosta: It's a massive 126 nanometers in size and it has a complex structure. It has an icosahedral head bound to a helical tail, and a heptagonal base plate with protruding protein tail fibres resembling small hooks. Davies: Yes, it's a real beauty queen, isn't it? DeCosta: I have to agree, it's graceful in its own way... shall we watch it dance? ::Davies wagged his finger at her, beckoning her to a different part of the lab where an electrophoretic microscope took up about three-quarters of a work table. He smiled at her:: Davies: I've been dying to get an excuse to use this thing. ::He slid their Petri dish into the machine and smiled as it whirred to life. He slid a stool over from another workstation for DeCosta and gave it a pat as he sat down upon his own.:: ::They pressed their faces to the viewing lenses, entering the minute world of the virus and cells and watched the interaction between the two. The virus was easily distinguishable from the blood cells with its unique structure and strangely evil-looking hooks.:: ::They watched as the virus surrounded a cell and pierced the outer cell membrane with the hook passing through directly into the nucleus:: ::Davies wiggled in his seat and tapped DeCosta's arm:: Davies: There it is! Did you see that? DeCosta: It is amazing the way it penetrates the cell so easily. Look, you can see it reproducing itself. :: Davies inched closer to the machine, as if that would help him see better:: Davies: What's this little bit of mischief? ::Something interesting was going on inside the nucleus, something that looked to be more than just simple replication.:: DeCosta: There is a new particle or "something" there. What IS that? Davies: Let's find out. ::He stood and removed the Petri dish and got to work isolating the virus.:: Davies: Let's see what it does with someone else to play with. ::From his stores of samples he filled three more dishes with different types of cells to see how the virus would affect them, and passed them off to DeCosta:: Davies: Lets try some white blood cells, skin and nerve cells to begin with. Let's see what the analyser has to say about these. DeCosta: Okay, give me a minute. :: DeCosta shimmied off the stool, smoothing her short dress down as she did so. She took the sample and took it back to the analyser for further analysis. Placing the dish under the device, Decosta spun in the stool and watched as Davies walked over, smiling to herself as she thought how good looking he was. :: ::Placing the first of the samples under the scope, DeCosta turned the dial to adjust the focus. As she did she ran her fingertips `accidently' over his arm. :: DeCosta: Looks a nasty beggar, so how are we going to fight it? :: Adjusting the focus she peered at the screen, placing both hands on the panel as if to make the image as still as possible. Davies: Well it doesn't appear to be affecting the blood cells. DeCosta: You know it reminds me of a scorpion , a nano scorpion. To be honest it looks slightly Borg-like, you know. Like their assimilation nano probes. ::Taking the second sample Decosta looked at the image on the small screen:: Decosta: Same thing in number 2, a scorpion like cell, it seems to be …. hang on, this is crazy, it's walking over the skin cells as if they're not there Davies: No effect on the skin cells then. ::Shaking her head Decosta removed the second sample and placed it to one side, gently taking the third dish she slid it under the scanner head and looked at the screen, watching as the `nano scorpions' had an effect. Decosta squealed and jumped off the stool and backed away as the screen as the probes covered the cell and multiplied 30 fold in a matter of seconds, filling the dish and screen instantly.:: ::Chris barely noticed her reaction, too focused on the images before him:: Davies: I see it's having an effect on the nerve cells. It looks as though it is interfering with the neurotransmitters. It appears to disrupt and send its own generated signals through the synapses. DeCosta: That's really, really nasty. ::Sitting back down and blushing she brushed the hair from her ear, looking at the results they had coming in she frowned.:: DeCosta: Doctor, this virus, its strange, it seems to ….. I don't know.. Davies: It's using the nerve cell's electrical impulses for mobility. ::He rubbed his chin and thought a moment. He retrieved the dish from the analyser and brought it back over to the electrophoretic microscope and leaned in:: Davies: Instead of replicating itself there appears to be a secondary virus...::he adjusted some knobs:: being delivered? Is that possible? ::He waved DeCosta over:: Here look, it has a different structure. DeCosta: Yes... they are a tiny 12 nanometers in diameter, with an equally complex structure. They look a bit like a conker shells. Davies: That is what is interfering with the neurotransmitters. ::He sat back and ran his hand through his hair. He stared at the machine, letting his eyes fall out of focus so he could just think for a minute:: Davies: How on Earth are we going to kill this thing? ::The analyser beeped and he glanced in its direction:: Davies: Check that for me would you? ::DeCosta nodded and went to the machine. It had finished analysing Malcolm's and Davies' blood samples. She felt her stomach tighten as she read over the data.:: DeCosta: Your results are positive. And Dr. Malcolm's. ::Chris ran his hands through his hair, scrubbing them across his face and ended with his thumb nail in his mouth. He looked over his fist at DeCosta and raised his eyebrows.:: Davies: Great. TBC... JUL/AUG "You are my Fortune"

For Dewey the Silent! **************** It was a warm summer night; my sister, Whistler, Whiny, Silent and I were sitting on the roof of our house watching stars and talking about the old Earth book we were discussing in school. Dangerous book… dangerous if you are 10 and your parents don’t have time for you as our parents didn’t have for us. Worse, Whistler found some old map in one of thousand crates on their huge attic, which was one of our two most favorite dreaming places. Fortune map his granddad stored there. Years later we will learn about the map and its origin, but it’s another story. “We need to make some dry rations for everyone.” Said my sister and Whistler added almost sounding offended. “Why? We have replicator on the yacht.” Whistler’s parents were traders and he was crucial part of the adventure, otherwise my sister would most probably kick him from our little team long ago, especially since she didn’t like Whiny, his sneaky and silent sister who was always *against*. It didn’t matter who proposed whatever nor was it accepted by everyone else, she was always against it! For the first time she didn’t even try to oppose the adventure. Moreover she pulled her brother, even before my sister could say something. “You can’t take replicator to the raft. We need some food for that part of our travel.” Watching his sister surprised, Whistler concluded. “Everyone get enough of your own clothes and food and bring them to the warehouse tomorrow evening. We’ll leaving Friday afternoon when guests start arriving to our estate. That’s best time because everyone will expect us to be in our room and nobody will check on us for a long time. Since your parents...” He turned to face sister and me. “…are guests, too I expect it’s best for the two of you, too.” It was more than best time because supersmart sis made sure it is. Mentioning how bored everyone will be she managed to gather everyone in our house. Since we had that *party* agreed upon by our parents, even Silent’s folks let him sleep at our place, despite our parents will not be there. So we boarded SS Black Rose, named that for Whistler’s mom whose naturally dark black hair made beautiful woman look classy and dashing. Even we boys watched her with awe…. aaah. Back to our crazy adventure, shall we? It was Friday evening, dawn was making shadows long and despite our hearts were bumping strong in our throats we left the house where we left the music maybe just a tad too loud, set to die at 1:30 in the morning with lights turning off half an hour later and sneaked toward the warehouse and a Black Rose. With a first stars of the night we started the engines and flew into Space and a magic adventure. First problem occurred when flight control wanted to know where we’re heading, but sis was smart again and with a feminine chuckle explained. “Me and hubby just want a bit of privacy while our guests have fun.” Cold and annoyed… “Understood ma’am, see you soon. Will log it that way.” …made us exhale for the first time since they contacted us. Next problem was making the ship go into warp, what it refused till we left the system. It was not all, ship’s computer also wanted to know where to jump. “Stupid thing.” So we gave him that treasure map which he analyzed for far too long for us to like. But in the end he found it. If you think he went into warp, you’re wrong. Stupid computer now wanted to know how fast to go and how many jumps. “One jump, maximum warp, you moron.” Whistler was on the edge, constantly expecting one of his parent’s ships to appear and stop our search for fortune. Yes, we all wanted to see new things and experience adventure we dreamed of on the roof reading Tom Sawyer adventures, but Whistler, well, Whistler wanted the gold and diamonds, to can leave his parents. He had everything and far more than he ever needed, but still he wanted more. More than his parents thought is fit for his age. Computer warned us that one jump may take us through dangerous region of space, but we were in a hurry and decision was made…. and that’s the lesson we’ll remember for the rest of our life. What hit us, don’t ask me I was 10 and have no idea. I don’t know where we went or through which part of Galaxy were traveling, but when *that* started it was horrible. Lights went off and only nasty sparks from fried equipment were showing the faces of other equally stunned companions. Fortunately we were all sitting strapped in the chairs, so only small flying objects hit us from time to time. Then I saw the planet coming to us and screamed and screamed and…. I opened my eyes to screams, but this time it was not me screaming. Screams were coming from outside the yacht. “Dad will kill us; it’s ruined, completely ruined.” “Stop crying like babies and let’s unload everything we can. The sea is rising.” My sister was in her element, but this time instead of just ordering around she was first to start doing. After some time of roaming the ship she found two antigrav sledges and started dropping everything she thought useful onto them. When both were full of things, she grabbed one and started pulling it toward the wood. Whistler was sitting in the sand crying, but Whiny proved girls are stronger at that age and frowning at her brother grabbed second sledge and followed my sister. Silent found some tools and survival kits what made my sister kiss him and made him completely unusable for the rest of the day. Well, not completely, he made fire, while we set the tents. “You think they’re going to find us?” That were first words Whiny managed to produce since the landing and scream when saw the yacht from outside. “Of course they will find us. Will they?” My sister watched me asking to say yes and to do that with confidence. “We should call for help, you know. I saw it in one of those educational vids, we have to turn computer on and send dis…distrac…distressed call or signal or something like that.” I was smart and felt really good for knowing the word. I believed I sounded smart, but others were not so confident. Silent was first to respond. “I tr..tr..ied to activate the compppupuputer, but it’s completely dededead.” “Nooo, bwahahahahaha:” Yes, that was big and powerful Whistler and I really started to wonder why we nicknamed his sister Whiny. “Time to eat, then we’ll go and try with computer one more time all together.” So we opened invaluable dry rations we almost didn’t prepared and after eating them returned to the yacht. We did everything it came to our minds and we were resourceful and smart kids, trust me. Well, yes, not smart enough to avoid this adventure, but despite all our laziness (I admit we were lazy, yes I do) we all skipped some grades and were good students. Silent was in the same class with all of us, despite being 2 years older, but he was very ill for a long time and had that speech impediment. When we were exiting the yacht we realized its getting dark. It didn’t seem so late when we returned to yacht and we realized it’s dark not because of coming of night, but because of the storm arriving fast. We run to the camp and taking our backpacks each run into tents, sister and Whiny in one and we boys in another. If you think you know what is loud and what big bad storm is, I’m ready to bet you never experienced this planet and its storms. I’m not Whistler and I believe I’m brave, but after few hours I started to cry, I just couldn’t cope with it… moreover since Whistler was screaming with every nearby thunder and Silent pinched me every time. When it calmed, we crawled together in the corner of the tent and when girls joined us we fell asleep like a bunch of puppies abandoned in the cardboard box by the dumpster, moaning almost silently, unable to say anything. Next day was clean, blue warm and sunny and living in the wood by the beach changed our mood upside down. That day was followed by another similar and one more not much worse, only a bit less sunny. Life was good and we were kids playing in the sand and swimming in the warm sea. But as all good things has to come to an end this adventure showed its teeth when we realized we don’t have enough water. It made us explore the land deeper in the wood. When we finally found water it was late and we gathered it in all the containers we had running fast back to… to camp, right… but camp had another idea. Finally when we realized it’s too dark to continue we again gathered like a puppies in the box and slept in the bush under the big tree. In the morning we realized if we don’t find camp we don’t have any more food, and any more was not much, despite all the planning we made and all the rations we brought with us. Around the midday we realized; we have no idea where we are, where we should go and that we’re too hungry to think rationally. Not really that way, not that any of us even knew how to say or explain that, but we felt it and were all hiding those tears we were brushing away walking one after another through the wood. Some crazy scientist long time ago said, anything that can go wrong will go wrong. Before we could realize it thunder stroke near us. We saw patches of open land throughout the wood, but having no experience we couldn’t even guess what they were. Soon we found out, when another lightning stroke like a bomb maybe 20 meters away igniting the wood. We watched the fire raging like bewitched till Silent screamed. “This way.” That was the first and last time I heard him say something without stuttering, and we followed him. He was leading us up the hill. After some time we were climbing on all 4 grabbing through the mud to get as high as possible, through heavy rain and thunders. Fire was raging all around us strong and even the flood bathing us and making the climb really hard could not stop her. I was climbing trying to see those around me, till I got covered with mud and completely blind and deaf, realized the light very close and screams and then nothing. I was all alone near the top of the hill trying to find my companions. My hear sunk and unable to control I screamed and screamed and screamed till my sister slapped me. We were on the transporter pad of the freighter who picked automated distress signal from the yacht and after retrieving small vessel found in the logs about its 5 little passengers. We spent next 4 days in the ships infirmary being observed for injuries or unknown infections we could get on the unexplored world, constantly listening Whistler crying for what will his parents do when see Black Rose. When we got transported down to the warehouse landing pad, Black Rose, or rather the wreckage of it was already standing there with our parents watching it. We were so ashamed we couldn’t look up or say anything. Parent’s noticed us when we were close by. Whistler then did what neither of us would ever expect from him after his behavior last days, stood in front of all of us and bravely faced his dad. “It’s all my fault. I found the map to the treasure and made them follow me. I know the yacht cost you a treasure and I ruined it… I’m sorry.” His father approached him grabbing him and pulling in the air. We all froze till the man started to laugh hugging kid. “You are my fortune, you two.” Pulled Whiny into the hug. “You’re fine and it’s only important.” My parents said nothing, just hugged us strong. Silent’s mom grabbed his ear and pulled him into a hug. “Fortune!”
  7. ((DISCLAIMER: Sim is slightly edited to to remove unanswered tags and resultant formatting issues. Sim has contributions by Commander Karynn Brice and Belleau Dioron (played by Fleet Captain Sidney Riley). )) (( Earlier, outside the Conference Room... 8:32am )) Tan: I have... not much experience with kids, so just jump right in if I mess anything up. ::The Haliian turned and smiled compassionately at the man as the doors to the turbolift closed. A few taps on the panel and soon the turbolift hummed to life.:: K. Brice: Actually, I was planning on being the one to break the news, if you don't mind. It's... ::she paused:: ...my duty to tell her. But I was hoping your presence might soften the blow. :: Alleran nodded firmly, quite happy with that arrangement. :: Tan: This sounds like a good plan. She should be up by now, but... with her parents away, I'm guessing that she probably stayed up really late and ate icecream for dinner. At least, that's what Marlee used to do when her parents were out... :: Tan gave a wry smile. Again, as was common when he discussed his previous hosts, there was a subtle perspective shift to the third person. :: Tan: Alleran was good kid. He never did anything bad... or fun. I honestly think that he probably needed to break the rules far more than he did. It's not good for kids development to be so... constrained, so reluctant to step outside their parents boundaries. You don't learn by constantly following the rules- you have to find out, back when you're young and your mistakes don't matter so much, just *why* we have the rules in the first place. :: He smiled. :: Tan: You can't really respect something you don't understand. I believe kids need to climb trees, if only to learn how much it hurts to fall out of them. It's a lesson that Alleran really only learned after he was joined. He learned a lot, really, at that point and... in a way I doubt you'd recognize him otherwise. :: Tan's smile grew. The turbolift hummed along as it moved. :: Tan: Joining is... it's a lot like getting married, in a way. ::a wink:: You change your last name, and for some purposes you count as one single legal entity... and you pick up a lot of each others habits. You even begin to talk like each other, think like each other, finish each others sentences... you're *bonded*, emotionally and chemically. Sometimes your "parts" disagree with each other, they fight even, or sometimes it's just one person leading the way with the other following... but at the end of the day it's a *team*. You work together, each learning and adapting, growing stronger. (( Later, Turbolift near Deck 5, Section C-3, USS Independence-A, after finding Belleau... 08:36ish)) :: A monster aboard the ship. Belleau's nightmare was a real thing. :: :: Alleran, carrying Belleau, tore into the turbolift. The First Officer had called security... this was good. They, while reasonably capable in a fight, had no weapons and that thing... whatever it was... would need security to take it down. He could hear Karynn's footsteps behind them stop as the Haliian whirled around. :: K. Brice: Computer - erect forcefield around intruder. :: That should stop it. But, judging by Belleau's scream... no joy. The Haliian joined them in the turbolift. :: K. Brice: Bridge. :: Alleran's relief as the doors closed was palpable. He held Belleau tightly, glancing between them. :: K. Brice: Are you ok? :: Belleau was crying...sniffling between her words. Tan held her close, trying to comfort her. :: Tan: I'm fine... we're both fine. Dioron: It tried to get me...It...It tried to get me... K. Brice: It's going to be ok, I promise. Dioron: But...But...it is still coming... :: Alleran did not like that one bit. He'd underestimated Belleau's perception once, but not again. :: Tan: We'll take you to the bridge. It's heavily shielded, you'll be safe there. ::The doors to the lift opened without ceremony and they were deposited onto the bridge..:: K. Brice: Take her into the Ready Room. ::to Belleau:: You'll be safe in there - and I'll be in in a minute. ::The child looked to Tan.:: Dioron: But...but... :: He sympathized, but the bridge proper was no place for children, and the Ready Room was as good as any. Holding her tightly, the Trill nodded in the affirmative. :: Tan: I'll come with you, Belleau. I won't leave you alone. :: They arrived at the bridge, stepping into the room. :: K. Brice: ::to Bridge staff:: Report! :: Belleau glanced towards the First Officer and tilted her head. Alleran set her down, letting her walk on her own, but he did hold her hand. She spoke rather loudly as they walked through the doors to the Ready room. :: Dioron: Where's my mom? :: Ahh, Belleau. She was keen and observant, that much was for certain. Alleran was under instructions to have Karynn tell her- that was her duty- and he wanted to avoid traumatizing the girl. :: Tan: It's... complicated. Mister Brice- that is, our brave First Officer- will explain when she's done with her bridge-type stuff. :: The doors closed and Belleau looked back at them as the clamped shut with a click. :: Dioron: It's going to come after us... ::She looked around nervously.:: :: Alleran wished he could say it wouldn't. But the thing had jumped right through a forcefield. :: Tan: I'll make sure it won't get you. :: That was a promise. :: Dioron: Are you sure? My room wasn't safe and it's no different than here... :: He nodded, trying to be reassuring. He did have an idea... fortunately, the ready room had a replicator. He approached it. Perhaps it was all the running, but he felt... suddenly quite weak. Half way there he stopped, coughed loudly, and produced another smudge of pink phlem. Frowning darkly, he wiped it off on his sleeve, then nodded to the replicator. :: Tan: Look, I'll show you. Computer... Type I phaser. Security clearance, Tan nine nine zero one X-ray. :: The little keychain-like device appeared in a small shower of sparks. Alleran picked it up, holding it in his right hand. As he did so, Belleau looked around the room, then she looked up at Tan her eyes wide. :: Dioron: She works on the bridge...she's not there? Why is mom not there? :: With a glance to the closed door, Alleran was determined to wait, but he couldn't say nothing. Belleau had survived on her wits alone in Starbase 118... she was perceptive. She could see when something wasn't right. :: Tan: We will get to that, I promise. Right now, though, I think you and I both know that we- you and I, the crew, the ship, are now in danger. :: Dioron took a sharp breath. Alleran crouched down and reached out, gently touching her shoulder. His voice was quiet but strong, carrying a certainty he was not sure he, himself, felt. :: Tan: I know it's hard for you, now, and things are strange and confusing... but you take after Sidney in so many ways. You're tough, you're brave, and you're strong. Things will all become clear in time, but right now... :: He clutched the phaser tightly with his other hand, giving a swift glance around the room. :: Tan: ... I think your mother would want you to focus on the task at hand, which is currently, to keep an eye out for anything that can get into this room. :: Another cough. Tan covered his mouth to avoid getting it on Belleau. :: Tan: oO I thought I was getting over this... and there aren't any bugs up here. Maybe a latent reaction... Oo Dioron: ::Mumbling.:: Brave... :: Tan tried something. He took his hand off her shoulder, unclipping his combadge and showing it to her. :: Tan: You know what this is, right? ::For a moment the pre-teen looked at him like he was crazy.:: Dioron: Of course! It's a comm-badge...everyone has one... ::She shrugged.:: :: He nodded. Another glance around the room, then back to the Terran/Bajoran. :: Tan: It's more than just a communications device, though. It's a *symbol*... more than just the gold and microfilament. It's something we look to, when times are tough. A symbol of our unity... a common bond linking our friends, our family... and through that unity, we gain courage. ::Belleau looked at Alleran with no emotion as he continued talking...:: Tan: These are dangerous times, for all of us. I may not know what's going on, but I know this. There's a whole Starship full of people out there- ::he pointed to the door with the badge:: -who are working together to find out. But for you and I, right now? Our primary mission... :: He smiled, gently placing the badge on her chest. :: Tan: ... little crewman... is to make sure we keep ourselves safe, don't panic, and have faith that everything that can be done is being done. :: Tears began to stream down the Terran/Bajoran's face uncontrollably. The Trill gave a playful smile, despite it all, leaning in towards the Terran/Bajoran conspiratorially. :: Tan: The good Commander Brice may have occasional trouble opening doors, or so I've been told, but she's a *brilliant* officer. I trust her explicitly. She saw that thing first hand. She's working on it right now, I bet, and I... we won't let any of them get to you. ::Belleau turned suddenly facing Alleran, the tears clouded her eyes. Tan closed his eyes a moment, nodding, then opened them. :: Tan: No matter what, Belleau, you will never be alone... okay? Even if nobody's with you physically, your mother and I always have you in our thoughts. No matter what happens to us... no matter *what*... nobody can change that. They can take our things, our commissions, our lives... ::a warm smile:: ... but never our love. Never that. :: He gently patted her shoulder again. The doors to the Ready Room opened. Glancing up (and putting his arm, protectively, before Belleau) he kept the phaser pointed towards the deck, but if he needed to raise it, he could. :: :: Fortunately, this was not the case. He visibly relaxed. :: Tan: Everything a'right out there, Commander? ::The Haliian looked from the Trill to the young girl. The proper answer was no. They had an intruder on the ship and at least two ships that got closer than they should have before they were aware of them. And the Captain was missing - so it was left on Karynn's shoulders to fix it all and find her. No... everything was not ok. But she couldn't very well say that - not to the little girl whose mother was missing and not to an officer who looked up to her. She set a determined look across her features, speaking evenly.:: K. Brice: It will be. :: Alleran gave the Haliian his best smile. :: Tan: We're both being very brave in here, sir. :: Technically, Karynn might deserve to be called 'Captain' at this point, but he fervently tried to avoid that. Belleau would pick up on it, he was certain, and the implication would not be lost on her. :: ::For someone reason there was a strangeness in the air...something hung there unsaid... Dioron turned abruptly and screamed at the Joined Trill.:: Dioron: I AM ALWAYS BRAVE!
