March 1st – Sims Archive will be deactivated temporarily for version 3 upgrade

I am happy to say though that version 3.0 of the sims archive is in its final stages of development, with a tentative release in April. That being said, A LOT of work is being done behind the scenes and we must make major changes to the way the code works. We are now at the stage where the archive has to be turned off for the work to be completed.

Starting March 1st, 2019, the archive will be put into maintenance mode and will stay there until around the first or second week of April. You will not be able to utilize it until I get things back up and running.

Of course, no sims will be lost – all of our sims still exist in our database, we will continue to collect new sims, and you can always find your sims on your ship’s Google Group archive.

None of the links existing will work after the upgrade, unfortunately, so sim links will have to be replaced. The goal with this last patch is to make sure that we do not have to deal with this type of change again.

Thank you very much for your understanding! If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to Captain Nugra through Discord chat.
