  1. #Facts are important you forgetting that endangers everyone. #annoyed #iamwriting

Alright, I have reached the point to write the post that I swore to myself I would not write. Why? Because people do not seem to remember what facts are. Here are the two reasons why I loathed to pen this: It’s politics and people are so blind even though…

  2. Hey Fudge Fans. I did an episode on Damage Factors that'll drop on Monday. I'm thinking up some show ideas and I could use a bit of feedback. I was thinking I could discuss adapting Fiction and other RPGs to Fudge, but would that be alienating to those who are unfamiliar with those materials? Also, how necessary are basic How-To shows on fudge? My target audience is generally folks who already kinda know what fudge is, but does there need to be some intro episodes to help build the fandom? Thanks Guys. I also got a call in number for the show, and got it listed in everything. Have a look http://plusorminus.capheind.com/
  3. A #review of "The Foundations" by DeAnna Knippling @dkknippling #ghost #story #iamreviewing

The Foundations by DeAnna Knippling My rating: 3 of 5 stars I liked Foundations. It had all the different aspects of a good ghost story in it and it was enjoyable to read. The premise was interesting with the idea of everything happening at a brand new…

  4. A #review of "The Time Probe" by V Bertolaccini @SFVoyager2014. #scifi #indieauthor #fiction

The Time Probe by Victor Bertolaccini My rating: 3 of 5 stars I stumbled upon Time Probe by V. Bertolaccini while perusing smashwords.com. As it is my go to site for indie author books, I like to keep up with what is going out there. The long blurb and…

  5. A #review of Braiwalker by @brainwalkerfans #iamreading

Brainwalker by Robyn Mundell My rating: 4 of 5 stars The first thing that jumped out to me about Brainwalker was the cover. I actually went back to it a few times in my twitter feed before I decided to try it. I can say that Iwas pretty surprised about…

  6. A #review of October Nights by DeAnna Knippling @dknippling. http://bit.ly/2AmhwZg #iamreading #horror

October Nights: 31 Tales of Hauntings and Halloween by DeAnna Knippling My rating: 5 of 5 stars This year I really did not get a chance to participate in any Halloween writing. Though not my favorite genre, I do enjoy writing a scary story. Still wanting…

  7. After 7 years, Jassik Creed returns with a new #fantasy #adventure! The explorer finds himself in the middle of a conspiracy and conflict in the Five Kingdoms! Out Feb 1st! #indieauthor #indiepub #iamwriting #ebook

I don’t know about you, but there are a few projects that I have had for so long, you wonder if you’ll ever get them completed. Jassik Creed & The Meek Prince was one such book that started in 2010 after the release of the first book Mermaids of Emerald…

  8. Alpha Minor (2018) - A Review of the new Harriet Walsh Novel by @spacejock. #new #scifi #ebook

Science fiction is beautiful in how many times you can see something familiar, but it is fresh and new. This was the case when I got to read Simon Hayne’s soon to be released Alpha Minor, the second book in his new Harriet Walsh series.

  9. Announcing the release of my #new #ebook Ashwood Fals: Benjamin based in @Journeyofword 's world!! #new #story

As you all know, I love to write. Last year though, if you asked me what my favorite story to write it would have been the Ashwood Falls: Benjamin story. Honestly, I just adored writing Isabelle and Aoibheann in the story and I’m really satisfied with how…

  10. Authors, you may have experienced this but nothing flares my irritation than someone who says “Oh, a writer? It’s pretty easy, I just don’t have time to do it.” or it’s variations. Am I about to rant? More than likely. I find it very interesting how many…

  11. Data backup day. What do I find? My hard drive is dead. #iwaswriting #totalloss #furious

For years I have always heard stories about backing up your work and making sure that it is in a safe place and it is something I have practice for quite awhile. The part that hurts in ways is that the day you get on to do your regularly scheduled back up…

  16. Have a #new #book schedule. Here is the 2018 one for you all. #iamwriting #indieauthor #freelancerlife

Done. After going through everything that survived and what I want to do, I’ve finally got my new release schedule put together. Here is what I plan to do for the next six months.

  17. Here's my 2018 #book release #schedule. #iamediting #indieauthor

It is becoming that time of year again where I sit down with my hopes and aspirations, then set out a schedule that would invariably disappoint me. This is also known as my 2018 book release schedule! January – Ashwood Falls: Benjamin February – Jassik…

  19. Here's Why I think people buy #coffee over #indie #books and #stories. #iamwriting #iamreading #freelancerlife

Let’s face it. Any of us who have been in the indie publishing world long enough come across a meme or a saying about people who would instead buy a four dollar cup of coffee instead of an indie book. It’s a strange disconnect that does not seem to make…

  20. I wouldn't be an #author without my #mother. #iamwriting #indieauthor #musing

I am a momma’s boy. I’m proud of it and tell everyone who asks. Honestly, I’m not sure why that’s considered an insult. When it comes to my mother, I would not be a writer if it was not for her. For the past few weeks, my wife and I have been talking…

  21. I'm done with @Smashwords. Let me tell you why they've earned my ire. #indieauthor #freelancelife #iwaswriting #indiepub

My new book Jassik Creed & The Meek Prince will be the last book I will be uploading to Smashwords.com. This tickled the back of my mind for a while, but after several infuriating attempts to get my book on to their market, I’m fed up with them and will…

  22. I'm not a #Successful #Author and That's okay. #musing #iamwriting #freelancelife #indieauthor

By most standards, I am not a successful writer. That sounds like a depressing way to start an author blog but bear with me to the end. Why we write is very important and it has been something I have worked through for the past few weeks. I know what I…
