Being the lone member of a culturally conservative species was difficult enough when it came to just about everything else, so upon learning that Terran and Al-Leyan formal attire was more or less the same in many ways it was a simple matter to have a replicated tuxedo made for him. Especially since doing so and wearing it didn't trigger the painful pinch at the back of his mind. Small mercies. Regardless, Toryn rather likes the way he looks bespoke in such finery. And as such, is mindful to have made it with a little bit of give and out of nanofiber so he's not likely to tear the fine attire by accident. He's even made sure to have the shoulders and sleeve by his wrists reinforced with extra padding in case he'd permitted to have Sylara with him.

All right, the annual fleet awards ceremony is right around the corner, so let's see what you're wearing! This year, Captain Rahman heard a rumor the awards ceremony is being held somewhere particularly sunny, so like any good engineer-at-heart, she brought an extra-large hat to be prepared. The hat also proves useful for going incognito when necessary... "Oh, #$@%, is that what Tristam is wearing? Activate cloaking device..."

It's that time of the year! Put on your best formal wear in preparation for the Annual Awards ceremony. Here's Jarred in his dress whites. Unfortunately his red collared uniform is still at the tailor, so he's had to put on ol'yella.

Taking inspiration from an old holo-novel he secretly enjoys from time to time, Dermont replicated himself a classic tuxedo complete with bowtie. While personally dreading celebrations, he respects the Captain enough to represent the Atlantis properly and managed to trim his beard and mop of a head to be somewhat presentable. He does, however, still have a flask of black coffee flavored with tobacco tucked inside his jacket. These things can get boring and he might need a little pick-me-up.

I'll start things off with Brell's newly made image. His suit was freshly made and tailored to fit, by a nice shop on SB118 he has enjoyed going to for years. He was pleased to find it was still there after the stations recent refit as the owner knew how to make a suit that fit just right.

Actually, strike that. A quick look in her old wardrobe case (From the USS Columbia, NX-02) found this ravishing number that was all the rage in 2169.

The Stoyers arrive in Dress Uniforms.

Of course, Nugra only knows one style for a formal celebration.

I gotta show this off: "I totally showed up for the awards in all black. Why do you ask?"

Originally Tasha planned to wear her dress uniform, but Sevo told her that was "Bland" and "Boring". So instead Tasha has picked out an older style dress that could in no way be considered bland or boring.

It looks like the first to arrive is the Gorkon's First Officer, Lt. Commander Ayiana Sevo. She is dressed in a scandalous blue mini-dress from the famed Trill fashion designer Zindara Rajel (( A former host of @Jalana )). I'm quite sure that dress violates at least a dozen Starfleet Dress Codes! And if I'm not mistaken, I believe that is her sister, Aleesia Yorval intruding in the photo!
